A word of caution though, we had our agm last week and we are in good financial health despite donating over £8k to good causes.

YOU CANNOT EXCHANGE SCOTTISH OR NORTHERN IRISH BANKNOTES OVER THERE ,they will not accept them in banks,hotels, restaurants currency exchanges.
Take your EHIC CARD with you (E111)....there is a reciprocal agreement in place with Macedonia for emergencies/
heath treatment.
Take euros or us dollars in small denominations to exchange for MKD (Macedonian Denar)over there.
