Only player we’ve signed so far that actually looks good. 

This time last year we were desperate to get into the Champions league.  When we did, it was an absolute soul crushing nightmare, so failing this time feels like the  consolation prize of Europa League competition does not seem bad at all. If all we can do is bank Champions League money then waste all that money by letting top players leave on free transfers, it seems hardly worth the hassle.

Another below par performance to say the least, what in your opinion is/are the issue/s?
New players needing to gel? New players not being good enough? The tactics not being right? Tav & Borna being too exposed? If I'm honest I think there's a mix of all of the above being the issue.

CL for finances but on current form we’d have a similar showing to last season. EL is more our level to be fair.

I'm not sure this team would have the confidence to overcome conceding early next week. 

Agree thought first half when we tried to take more risks we just lacked that final pass or link up - but we reverted to everything going through Tav or Barisic and it got slow, over thought and we barely had a chance - if latter is the system (and seems to have been for years it feels…) gonna be a long season and possibly a short one for Beale.
remain optimistic with the squad we have things will fall together eventually but it may be too late by then of course 

I absolutely hope i am completely and utterly wrong, but my gut instinct right now is that Beale won't see out September.
It's not knee jerk, i just don't see anything about this team that's been assembled.
They might be good enough players, but this system, whatever it is, definitely isn't going to work with them.

Terrible decision to go with that midfield 3 for starters.
