Take your point but that fucking press conference is the difference. At a time when we as a club and fanbase needed our proper "Rangers men" to stand up Naismith actually had the fucking cheek to say "its no Rangers anymore" and give every taig scumbag a fucking field day. Don't want him near Ibrox but for the sake of argument,who would he replace in our present team? No one as far as I'm concerned.

Is it not more juvenile on your part, as a grown adult, to not just leave it be if you thought he was a child? Still, if your party have their way you could soon report such behaviour to his named person. 

Like a few on here I've been a bit confused with the haste in which Worrall has displaced Katic at the heart of our defence. Competition for starting places is something the Manger has spoken about since day one so maybe the idea behind this decision has a more far reaching impact than it appears. 
At the end of the day I suppose all that really matters is that Rangers benift from the managers decisions and we should be grateful for that. What makes this a bit more confusing though is that on the face of it Katic has quite literally not put a foot wrong defensively since he arrived. Nothing glaring anyway. 
Worrall's inclusion understandably then has a lot of us scratching our heads and I just wonder if Stevie is looking to provoke a reaction with the rest of the  team by sending a very visible reminder they need to bring the A game all of the time. 
These last couple of games the efforts and endeavour really does seem to have been ramped up quite considerably. Could this in part be a reaction to the Katic situation where by players now know unless they are playing at the very top of their game then they will be dropped in favour of an other option available to the manager. 
From what I've seen so far Katic has looked the more accomplished centre half but then Gerrard might well be seeing things entirely differently. Like I say as long as Rangers are improving and moving forward that's all that matters in the grand scheme of things. If nothing else it should ensure ALL our defenders are now focused on giving their all for this club. They now know full well the consequences if standards drop and that's as it should be.

I'd have Katić and Barišić in the team, but Worrall and Flanagan have each had two good games consecutively, so hard to argue against the starting XI - especially when Gerrard has been criticised for rotation of late. 
Personally, I'm happy we now have options in different positions to the point we can actually debate who we think should start; each player has different strengths and weaknesses too, rather than being carbon copies.

You only seem to remember the eejits.

I wouldn't replace anyone just now.  He'll have to wait for his chance like the other very good players in our squad.  Feels great being able to say that now without trying to convince myself!

Still getting up to speed , not concerned at all . 

he wasnt fit and he has to get fit and then claim a place. i think after this break and another two weeks training under his belt we will see him starting to feature.

The ease by which he got turned by that big guy was alarming. 

Also Worrall had a poor start today again and if it wasn’t for McGregor he’d have let us down today big time.

Flanagan is exactly the type of player we've cried out for in the past few years, gets fucking torn in about it and plays for the jersey. Brilliant the last two games.

Huge performances the last 2 games for us.  Barisic is going to have to work hard to get LB spot back.
Great for us we have that depth.

I think it's fair to say Gerrards definitely got the Rangers bug. When we are playing well and are winning games it's the best feeling in the world and just like him I can't wait till we are out on a pitch again.
