RJMcGregor reacted to Rangers_no1 in Post Split Fixtures
There's a huge difference between needing a win than a draw at a venue we have a horrendous record at.
They have destroyed us on the transition when we attack them, it plays into their hands knowing we need to go for a victory.
A draw was always going to be a tough ask for us, nevermind a win.
To say nothing has changed, is factually incorrect.

I appeared to have suffered some sort of stroke on my last post.

Because, as utterly depressing as it is about 90% of the time now, I love Rangers. I just can't pretend that I think we'll win something when I don't think that.
I did enjoy it in the moment. I just said that I don't like the gloating and taunting before anything is won. I dont like that in general in any sport tbf.
Yes, unless we get rid of the usual suspects and get heavy investment in the summer we will finish second. Just like we have the last 5 out of 6 years, going on 6 out of 7, since we returned to the Premiership.

I do not know what is more fun, The possibility of getting rid of Lammers or the 5's league team names

RJMcGregor reacted to Siam69 in Ross McCausland
He had our best attempt on goal, bar Tav's FK. Hart made a good save.
He never hid no, was our best attacking threat in the game, kept trying to drive at them the whole game, even at the very end he made a great chance for Dowell to score, who made a cunt of it. People saying he wasn't ready. Does that mean all the other far more experienced forward players were less ready?
It's pish! He did okay, alongside Yilmaz who also did okay. Sterling and Lundstram were our only decent players.
November's player of the month ffs. He's still raw, had we a better forward line i think he would've been used an an impact sub at the moment, to try to come on and make things happen as needed. He needs to be in the gym more, bulk up, work on his final decision making. But that can all be done, is achievable with good coaching and development.
If we had a decent finisher we'd have won yesterday.
I get we're all hurting and annoyed, there are plenty reasons we lost yesterday, and people to blame. Ross McCausland is not one of them.

Young player that’s just broke into the team and people are slaughtering him already. This is why we never give young players a chance.
He put some of our more experienced players to shame yesterday.

RJMcGregor reacted to psb07158 in Why do our fans accept mediocrity?
It’s what drove me to make this thread
I’m sitting at home absolutely stewing in a foul mood and read some cunt talk about Tav’s great mentality scoring that goal and it just set me off 🤣
The next few days ruined until we get back to Ibrox tbh in what is an absolute must-win game against a plucky opponent.

Online today I’ve read:
- Tav scoring was great and important because it will have scared them
- McAusland and Yilmaz played really well
- it’s OK Sima was that bad because he’s been good this season
Another loss against them, think that’s our 30th odd loss against them in the last 35 games at their stadium. An absolutely appalling record to have against them
The manager needs money in January and in the summer the likes of Goldson and Tavernier need to go (that will catch a lot of flak for me on here). I like Tav a lot, but we need to get rid of a core leadership group which is clearly psychologically scarred against them

Agreed!
I'd much rather he done a Cantona, kicked the fucking head clean off one of the mutants giving him the abuse.

If Danilo was legally declared blind after his injury I'd still play him ahead of Dessers.

The problem with Dessers is
1. when he doesn’t have the ball he looks clueless.
2. when he has the ball he looks clueless

See that guy who messaged Watling he can actually fuck off too.
Messages the guy noising him up and baiting him like a keyboard hard man, right after the guy has just been sacked and then as soon as Watling tamely bites back he screenshots it and then probably starts sending it around his pals so it ends up doing the rounds on social media.
Fans talk about the standards being in the bin, but cunts who do shit like that for likes, attention and online clout are every bit as bad and need to take a long hard look at themselves.

RJMcGregor reacted to Marky. in Beale Sacked
Why the fuck would you think to message things like that to staff or players online.
That’s genuinely something you’d expect from someone in primary 5. Grow up.

RJMcGregor reacted to RFC55 in Beale Sacked
Just been sacked, I don’t really know wtf people to expect them to react like. These guys are humans, with families etc who need to provide, wether they earn more money than us or not, everyone works to pay for their family and keep them to a life they’re accustomed to.
if someone I worked with sent me that after being bumped I’d a gave them a lot worse back

RJMcGregor reacted to AGM_72 in Who's next?
I'm not sure Magath is the guy but tbh, I think the general idea that @McEwan's Lager puts forward is what is required.
We have been a mess at the top since 55. @eskbankloyal and a few others mentioned that if Gerrard left there would likely be a huge void to fill and that has proven to be true. We need to sort out the whole structure of the club above the manager position and unless you have an absolute miracle, picking a manager before doing that will only result in more long term pain.
