    Tore Andre Flo was decent value for money overall, both financially (as we still got a decent fee from Sunderland) and on the park (goals return was decent too).
    Davie Robertson is/was a better full back than Numan IMO.
    Of so many of our ex players, Gordon Durie doesn't seem to get enough recognition/praise. I thought he was really good. Admittedly he played in an era of great players.
    Kevin Thomson wasn't as great as some believe IMO. Really good on his day but IMO we didn't see it enough to regard him as highly as some seem to do IMO. He wasn't bad though.

    true they are honkin but that's no my point. we have all sorts of managers come in promising all sorts of revolutions but we always end up with a new manager and a whole new set of players. warburton, pedro, murty and now gerrard. i wish gerrard good luck and he has my backing but i'll start getting excited when we actually pump that lot. no draws. a straight win.

    I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that if this was the AC Milan of 25 years ago with Maldini, Baresi, Lentini, Van Basten, Papin, Savecivic, Costacurta, Boban, Massero, Desailly and Albertini or even 15 years ago with Schevchenko, Gattusso, Cafu, Inzaghi, Kaka, Pirlo and Seedorf, this ban wouldn't have happened.
    It's very, very easy to pick on a footballing giant when they are in trouble or struggling - as we know.

    The jury heard the speed limit on that road for buses is 50mph.
    Phillips admitted in evidence he never once looked at his speedometer during the journey and claimed that “everyone drives at 10mph above the speed limit.”

    Good. Should never have been going at that speed approaching a roundabout in a bus.
    The evil thing is he tried to say the brakes failed but got caught out and that is unforgivable.

    you know he's told the players exactly what he's said there, bring your everything the squad is too big as it is you don't want to get left behind.
    Love it, certainly sounds as if the players are finally being grounded and made to work properly.

    Loving our players having double sessions in the baking heat.
    Gerrard and his staff know what it takes to reach a higher level and we are nothing if our squad runs out of steam after 65 minutes.
    This level of fitness could gain us alot of points we missed out on last season.
