could be a repost but

On a possible departure of the striker to the rank Glasgow has been speculated in recent weeks and days a lot. Sports Director Alfred Hörtnagl brought light into the matter: "The issue Jelavic was lately very strong presence. The fact is, the Rangers have approached Rapid. It has to give good talks, but already last week on Thursday there has been a rejection of the Scots . They have informed us that they commit another player. Jelavic has accepted this and promised full commitment for Rapid. For us, the theme was thus done. "

Our Number 16 was very well dealt with the issue, finally Jelavic knew what he had to thank Rapid. "He is now concentrating fully on the task in Rapid" added Hörtnagl. Although the Rangers have opened the book on Sunday or Monday again and again tried to lure Jelavic to the island, but "we can not let go a few days before such an important match such an important player." This would have been irresponsible of Hörtnagl view, because "at this time we could not agree to this transfer easy."

The reason for Jelavic 'refusal to work: If he played today against Aston Villa, he would no longer be allowed to play in the fall for the Rangers in the Champions League.

Well the article is wrong is it not?

He probably thinks Rapid will put Villa out thats all.

its way wrong but i dont care - if jelavic plays, he COULD get injured so its best they belive that so we get our man asap

Mate, Its what anyone would do. If your offered near 20 grand a week compared to your 3. Of Course your gonna refuse to play. You could get injured and be stuck with a team that's paying you 3 grand.

It's just really angry, when a key-player like him announces, he refuses to play six hours before the game should start.

Take him, but keep in mind, that he's only interested in your money and will leave you maybe in the same fucking way, he left Rapid now.

so i suppose if another company approached you saying they thought they were good at your job, and would like to pay you DOUBLE your current salary to come and work for them, you would say no?
