Seen the big man out tonight with his mates (assuming they were up from London), totally massive guy haha!

Bumped into him in Lloyds tonight and just shook the guys hand and said well done on his debut today, great performance.

Think he was more taken aback at the fact someone knew who he was :P

Is one game enough to automatically step into CMid position?

Not at all, however the lad has an eye for a tackle...yes that sounded bad...timing was excellent and pass through to whittaker was sublime.

For first impressions, it was promising...

Was really impressed with his confidence, looked more like an old pro.

Also am really impressed with the reception our fans have given these new guys, every one of them look delighted to be here, and why wouldn't they with that kind of support. Diouf looks like a dog from the pound that's finally found a good home, and only want's to please......... WATP.

This. They all seem really taken aback by the reception. Dioufs loving every minute of it. Bartley seems really privileged to be here aswell which is good to see considering he came from Arsenal. Healys another one but he's a supporter like us so thats to be expected.

As soon as he came to warm up during the Celtic game last week Bartley was applauding the fans before we started to applaud him. The lad seems really grateful for the oppurtunity to come here and hopefully he grasps it with both hands :)

He's a monster. Going by yesterday's performance, he is exactly what we have been missing in the middle of the park all season - he can tackle, put the boot in, retain possession, pass and move. He also doesn't take two/three touches to get the ball under control or half an hour to release it.

He can also play football, which helps!

The man to stick the boot into the bheggars!

Let's see how Kayal, Ki and Brown like that. Would have him in the team ahead of both Ness and Edu for that reason - plus, he looks like he can play.

Certainly not going to get too carried away over one performance, but it's another positive to add to yesterdays performance. You can tell this lad has been involved in a quality youth set-up!

Doesn't panic, has a good touch, impressive distribution, likes to travel with the ball, can actually tackle, positionally aware, takes no shit, looked decent in the air and like he could run all day.

Our short-term Marcel Desailly :D
