Muff 245
Long balls up to him 90% of the time don't help, although he won a number of them. His touch and passing was absolutely woeful today. Although I thought he worked hard and won us a lot of free-kicks.Not his best game, certainly not the worst player in a Rangers jersey.
Irwin Sparkes 97
At Sunderland and Blackburn hes left both times after manager changesIts the like good old "Barry flopped at Blackburn" the tims roll out, twisting the truthIt's not even remotely similarBlackburn were desperate to keep Barry FergusonThey were prepared to pay an alleged 80% of Diouf's wages just to get him out of the club

rossDas 1,071
Wasn't he quite good in his first few games for us or am I mistaken?
RFC82 15
I like the guy as a player, but he is not a striker, so playing him up front is asking for trouble. He always comes deep to try and get involved in play, we should consider him as part of a 3 man centre midfield.
We Are The People 62
I'm not so sure about the tactics, more to do with the ability to trap and pass a ballShocking Display by everybody todayShagger wasnt too bad, was he?
papaguy51 912
I'm amazed at how slow Diouf is.I always thought he was a bit faster.
LucyBlue 2,278
It's not even remotely similarBlackburn were desperate to keep Barry FergusonThey were prepared to pay an alleged 80% of Diouf's wages just to get him out of the clubBarry Ferguson was a key player at Blackburn. He then got injured....Blackburn struggled and he was not viewed so highly after he returned (unfit).Football fans are fickle. However, Blackburn hadn't paid Rangers all they were due and Blackburn were downsizing so it made sense for them to sell him back to the club they actually still owed money too.Diouf?A small glance at Blackburn forums would see they thought he was arguably their best player this season.A new manager coming in, coupled with a a few good results saw him reduced to a bit-part figure.Barry left Blackburn due to finances largely.Diouf left as the manager didn't fancy him much.No real comparison IMO. Irwin Sparkes 97
Barry leaving Blackburn was nothing to do with financesHe put in a transfer request because he wanted to return to Rangers. Blackburn weren't prepared to let him leave until Birmingham agreed to sell them Robbie SavageThe fact that they still owed us money meant we could afford him. It was nothing to do with Blackburn needing to sell.
Jelle1880 225
I'm amazed at how slow Diouf is.I always thought he was a bit faster.I think he's keeping back, since most of the other players can't follow.Remember when he got so pissed at that throw in a few weeks back ?It's not the first time he goes past his man, wants to cross it and sees that there is absolutely nobody in or around the box, they're just jogging towards the box. Muff 245
I'm amazed at how slow Diouf is.I always thought he was a bit faster.I read a scout report on him from 2001 (Lens days) and in it his pace was highlighted - he's never been blessed with pace, IMO and today he seemed slower than ever. His short, poorly weighted balls frustrate the hell out of me as well.I wish we'd sign players with a bit of pace - it's 2011, not the early 90's. MayboleLoyal_atb 3,724
Never his greatest of games on a day where no-one was great. Looked as if he was blowing out his arse after about an hour. Still has the strength and ability to cause teams problems though.

Zappa6995 3,659
Shagger wasnt too bad, was he?Sorry I was probably a bit harsh but his distribution was pretty poor, seem to remember quite a few balls going nowhere or right out the park and then giving it The Shagger Stare.
