I am not upset at this as I think he can be utilised as a good sub and no doubt he has been a good striker in the past. I think he will be on low wages ans possibly even less than the 4k quoted

I had hoped we would be more ambitious than healy and foster.

Surely were not goin for Foster, the sheep want half a million (td)

Healy as a squad player i suppose but Foster not good enough, especially for that cash!

hemed

surely that won't be line up if healy signs

We also do not have Goodwillie yet, so let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

Did he not get an assist that sent us through to the next round of the Europa League this season after he'd only been on the pitch for 5 or 10 minutes?

Answer = Yes, he did. It was a perfect pass.

Dont think we got to see what he could do last season with his limited appearances.

As others have said before me, he's a good squad player.

Welcome Aboard For Four In a Row David!

Or four perhaps?

He was a waste of wages when he was here, he was low down on the pecking order and nothing but a benchwarmer. If he's going to get a game, then by all means sign him up. Otherwise, let him go.

Pointless squad filler.

Don't know about pointless. Surely it's better to have a squad filler on relatively low wages who's a Rangers fan and can maybe do a job for us than a squad filler on relatively high wages who isn't a Rangers fan and can maybe do a job for us?

Pointless squad filler.

Bit short sighted for me.

If he wasn't 'Rangers Northern Irish David Healy' the fans would want him to stay.

That old mythical chestnut again

All Ulster bears are total spaccers who only want Ulstermen to play for Rangers and don't care about their ability

He's rumoured to be on just £4000 a week

No harm in keeping him around for another season. He'll be 4th choice at best.

I'd much prefer that berth to go to one of our youngsters to enable them to progress.

Do we have any young strikers who you'd fancy to make a similar impact from the bench as Healy?

The only one i've actually heard of is Hemmings but i know nothing about him

I wouldn't say that Healy has made much of an impact when coming off the bench. It smacks of more short-term thinking and I just hope it's not a sign of things to come from McCoist.
