dan_ger 1,454
I will add to that it would be unlikely that we would get anyone else of similar quality even if we spent the £9m+ I would expect to get for Jela. For this reason I don't want him to be sold. breeks 0
Here's a radical idea...£10m for Jelavic. Go and buy Verhoek, Hamdi Salihi and another striker?more pish players
scottyboyblue 61
If they get the right money, i.e 9-10 million, then fine, but they have to do the deal tonight so they have time to spend the money. White said in a previous interview somewhere that any money from players would go back into the squad, if they sell jela and don't spend the money i for one will be a very unhappy rangers supporter
sassaaaa 11,406
If there are deals for strikers going on in the background , i would sell him . If not , he's got to stay ..........
simon 1,758
Wouldn't sell him.
TheBloubellsAreBlouie 209
I see it as being either a statement that they are not going to sell their best player and are trying to show this to the fans!OrMore cynically, they are putting this up to give this perception that a team will have to spend more to get him and enticing more money for him.Only time will tell I suppose! We're on the same page now. Zulu 981
If it goes to 9mil Whyte will grap it .
PaulRFC1 115
Knowing Whyte that'll be Lee Miller and Kevin Kyle...... You don't know Whyte and its Ally who picks the targets.
Mor3los_1 3,672
Sell him now and we won't win the league. There's no easier way to put it, there's simply NO way we'll win the league with Lafferty as our only striker (good enough). Leicester can fuck off. Sick of them this window. We said that about Miller, stranger things have happened.
Guest
I would just be worried about how much we could spend and if we could get the right quality in.
RFC55 110,262
I fucking hate the last 2 days of transfer windows
Senna 735
I would just be worried about how much we could spend and if we could get the right quality in.Enough about Arsenal, what about us?
ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
If this bid had came in 2 or 3 weeks ago, he would be a Leicester player, and we would have went back with a better offer for Goodwillie.
simplythebest 11,453
If there's no re-investment then does the price really matter? We'd probably be out of the title race by January.
SirWalterSmithLegend 206
Well with no Champions League income this season the books will have to be balanced somehow. I wouldn't expect McCoist to see much of any fee received. This Heard theres also a stupid sell on percentage for Rapid which i hope is nonsense. He has played his last game for Rangers it looks like. Imodium 413
£10m and deal done tonight and you have yourself a deal Sven

Blue corn flakes 1,282
If we could get the Greek in, cuellar an a centre mid with the jelavic money? I would be delighted!
bearsrus 12
he's off imo, this is now just a bidding war
ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
If he stays, then it will only be until January. If he keeps on scoreing goals for us up until then, we will get another good offer in for him.
gers31 246
If he does go then we will need two quality strikers in before tomorrow night and the way we do deals i cant see that happening
AyeReadyStu 70
This Heard theres also a stupid sell on percentage for Rapid which i hope is nonsense. He has played his last game for Rangers it looks like. I wouldn't be at all surprised at that tbh. I wouldn't sell Jelavic now though, simply to little time left in the window to get any serious dealing done. Earlier in the window I wouldn't have been against it however. RFC55 110,262
If we sell him it better be a huge signing to replace him.
andy500 463
We should be actively looking at possible replacements just in case a massive offer does come in.
