whitey126 42
Lets be honest, Jelavic was brought in with the view that he would eventually have a decent sell on value. If we doubled our money then its fantastic news - as long as 100% of it is invested back into the team. This is the dillema though, its the 30th of August, and the way we have conducted our negotiations so far doesn't fill me with confidence that we'd get 2 or 3 decent players in by tomorrow night.Preferably this bid would have come in next summer, not now. Liam_RFC 238
anyone else think Jelavic will push for this move now were out of Europe ?? 10 million ad do a deal but ad do what liverpool did with torres hold of accepting the bid till we have secured players to replace them then accept the bid
TerryButchersDoor 8
Think so mate?I can't see us paying 4m then having to pay say another 10% of any sell onWe've probably got a 35% sell-on fee with Rapid Vienna!
Gillete 1,338
Anyone know where he stays ?Let's all get down to his gaff and barricade ourselves in his driveway to stop him getting out until thursday

AyeReadyStu 70
To all the Leicester City lurkers on here, we have new owners, we don't NEED to sell our best players to pay debts. You can have Broadfoot and Edu though.

MCLACHLAN1 49
But there is no guarantee McCoist would get the money and even less likelihood that it would be spent well with 24hrs of the window to go.If Ally hasn't got a list of players he would like that's his fault. If that is the case...Keep him.Clubs should prepare for any outcome. kanjo 26,408
To all those berating Leicester. They are in a Better League and can pay more and are wealthier than us.These are all facts. No Europe for us leaves us Vulnerable in this Climate.Championship is a better league, but is mid table finishes that much better than a title pursuit, and 40,000 fans worshiping you?£10m and no less....though i'd still grudge £10m

disgruntled_bear 157
I just hope if we do indeed sell him, is that McCoist gets a big chunk of the money to re-invest. Or they is no point in selling.

DougieGers 26
Its also a good cover for us showing interest in players. Everybody is worrying/ reporting on Jelavic and maybe we can make some under the radar signings
Nicika Jelavic 7
Let's see if Jelavic sticks to his word, and will only move to a club as big as Manchester United. Will be gutted if he's sold, him and Bougherra leaving :'(
Dexter25 2
We all feared a bid like this would come in for him. The positive thing is we have knocked it back so at the very least we have learned how to get more cash for our players. More optimistically we may not be interested in selling him given our other options.
