***Craig Whyte thread***

Does anyone who's saying he is failing as a chairman think jelavic would still be here after that 6.5 mil bid if he hadn't taken over? Get off the guys back for a bit! He's brought in a few players and kept our big name players. I would imagine that if the majority of Rangers fans had been offered that 6 months ago they would have grabbed it with 2 hands!

Agreed we do need a striker! But right now we're sitting top of the league with a healthy squad that has the capabilities to win the league!

Ally could have had as much as he wanted had he got past the Euro minnows of Malmo.

Im not too sure on that mate Whyte statement to shareholders says he would put in 5m to invest in the playing staff, not saying Ally gets 5m to spend on players, a bit sleazy Daveesque Whyte will say by tying up Shagger, Witts, Davis, signing 6 players, 1 loan + the resignings Weir, Healy, Kerkar, Little, Wylde, adding onto the wage bill then the 5m would be swallowed up. Then we have had Boughy, CA, DW, Money come in + Season Ticket Money so alot doesn't add up although Whyte would dissagree.

Whyte owns fucking Rangers are you trying to tell people that he doesnt have enough power if he didnt like McCoist to say at the outset its no deal unless i pick who will be manager.

No, he doesn't have enough power. Not even enough power to sack McCoist of his own free will. The fans are the lifeblood of Rangers, and we will always have the say.

Jesus.

I for one, won't be calling for his head if we lose the game versus Satan's XI, or even if we don't win a trophy at all this season. We're at the start of a long, very fruitful journey here.

Said Vinny, also after you whupped my ass at pool in Belfast then got beat off a fat retard I beat my Grampa!... Eventually!

:lol:

...That's no way to talk about caseyjones!

He was a dirty trickster, dressed as a fat retard, tricking in to me a sense of complacency! I learnt my lesson.

For all those goals we were cheering when McCoist was banging them in, and i remember very clearly his contribution to the club, he deserves 2 seasons for me. If that means it being painful at times then ill accept that, but he deserves 2 years imo. Problem is some fans wont give him 2 months let alone 2 years.

What's he actually done? Can someone show me a link to prove HE has done something for Rangers?

Sure, thats easy, where do you want to start?

Do you think someone who couldnt get a club like ours past two, yes two, European minnows deserves to spend big money? I am not too sure Mr Whyte trusts Oor Ally.

I agree mate, if Whyte didn't want Ally he had the chance to sack him for failure above as you say costing the club 16m then 4m if i was Whyte i wouldn't be pleased as he needed that Money more than anything the club is now going to suffer. Has Whyte got the Money to clear the Management Staff McCoist, McDowell, Durrant.

"Ive said that we will spend £25 million over 5 years on the playing squad. I need to have a discussion with Ally and see if some of that needs to be front ended, so maybe we can spend a little bit more for next season if that's necessary"

MONEY IN

Boogie - £1,700,000

Charlie Adam - £800,000 ish

TOTAL = £2,500,000

MONEY OUT

Wallace - £1,500,000

Goian - £ 800,000

Ortiz - £ 400,000

Bocanegra - £ 400,000

Bedoya - £300,000

McKay - £300,000

TOTAL = £3,700,000

Front ended spend from £25,000,000 = £1,200,000 :anguish:

Im sorry, but that just doesnt cut it with me. I was very wary from the off and others convinced me to give the man some time to prove me wrong. He hasnt.

A man of honour lives and dies by his words. 3 months into the job and he has already failed to deliver. (tu)

He will have but he wont want to be seen as getting rid of Ally so soon, he has to give him a chance whether he really wants to or not, i think. If he sacked the boss now, i dont think he believes he would have the fans backing. Maybe he thinks the fans would be in support of Ally and not him.
