sdunsmb 43
http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/879634-arsenal-braced-for-theo-walcott-bid-from-barcelona#ixzz1boJvEOOXThe Spanish boss was thought to be impressed with the winger’s match-winning display against his side during last season’s 2-1 Champions League defeat at the Emirates, and is now reportedly considering a surprise bid. Barca are certainly not short of fleet-footed forwards, but with Alexis Sanchez and Ibrahim Afellay currently sidelined with long-term injuries, a move for Walcott may well be on the cards. The England international will be out of contract in 2013, and with no new deal currently on the table, the Gunners may be tempted to cash-in on the former Southampton man if the right offer come in. However, Walcott has recently declared his desire to begin contract negotiations with Arsenal, and although a potential switch to the Spanish giants may turn his head, Emirates chiefs are quietly confident that a new deal can be struck. They would be absolutely unstoppable if they managed to pull this signing off! chewbacca 8
Walcott is a decent player but has NO CHANCE of playing for Barca!
bilko89 507
I think Walcott would be a Chelsea/Man City signing. Not good enough for Barca IMO

Goianegra 4,686
Great, I expect a multi-million move from Real Madrid for Wylde in the next few weeks then, because the only thing they both have in their locker is speed.
ready1873 3,897
Walcott is terrible bar his pace.
MasterD 7,442
He is shit. He'd struggle to get in the Barcelona B team.
sdunsmb 43
I think they are missing a player with his pace, signing him could take them to the next level.
Amac9 2,060
Theo Walcott is fucking pish! The only good thing about him is his pace. He very rarely takes a man on, couldn't cross th road, barely completes a full match and is a bit of a shitebag.

Maxo1873 201
Barca are already unstoppable. Having walcott wont change a thing, if anything if he starts will make them worse.

AGM_72 3,716
Just a thought...Arsenal are ready to open negotiations to sign Walcott to a new contract.Either the agent is putting out a story to up his wages or he's agreed the new deal and Arsenal have put out the story to say "He's turned down moves from top European clubs" blah blah. Maxo1873 201
Thought this was a wind-up when I seen the thread. Probably the funniest thing I've read all season.Sanchez?Barca are certainly not short of fleet-footed forwards, but with Alexis Sanchez and Ibrahim Afellay currently sidelined with long-term injuries, a move for Walcott may well be on the cards. even if sanchez is out a dont really think they need pace, they pass the ball so well around teams. GlenH79 42
Did they get mixed up between Walcott and RVP? the only player from that Arsenal team who has even a remote chance of getting into the Barcalona team would be RVP.
