bluepeter 5,627
The SPL said the same about us, to be fair. They don't want to get involved, the "club have taken all reasonable steps" line was exactly what they said about us re: Billy Boys. I'm more interested to know what UEFA have to say about it.Edit: I'm NOT comparing TBB and IRA singing, before somebody misunderstands and it ends up in a huge debate... thomas_91 0
Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as the SPL are concerned, are sectarian songs ok as long as the clubs attempt to stop it?
Creampuff 22,628
No need for the claims of bias here, exactly what they said to/about us

nachothelegend 1,932
Police done nothing but arrest bears at ibrox for stupid things, and politicians getting incolved in football through stupid legislation that isnt required .All for singing songs .No transparency in this at all. TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
Same as us. Some twat will come on and claim bias soon enough though and this tedious tit-for-tat playground war will continue on and on and on and on.......... californiadreamin52 339
The Three wise monkeys........ see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. if EUFA come up with another opinion these Barstewarts at the SFA are going to look rather stupid. It`s now down to you Salmon obviously the football authorities cannot resolve it`s own problems when it comes to Celtic
nachothelegend 1,932
It is down to Salmond and his pals .See if he comes out with any nice excuse like its part of their History, and we cant stop them singing.
1690KWilliam 169
the IRA scum over the border will run in the charge of the UDR
iain1712 336
This verdict is exactly the same as the one we got regarding our singing the sfa are too scared to fine either of us. It's the uefa decision that we are awaiting with baited breath. if they fail to fine or sanction the scum then it's an endorsement of their terrorist chanting and we will be in for some crazy stuff in the coming months
iain1712 336
And can somebody change the thread title They weren't cleared about anything more a case of guilty as charged just no penalty to pay. admonished if you want to put it that way. Thermopylae 15,287
Although the BBC reporting is slightly different You have to wonder if the ira had bombed the bbc if their reporting of what septic sing would be different ... it's always different when it's someone else who is getting murdered and maimed

Marco Negri's Beard 1,423
Would be interesting to see the reaction should the Rangers support, at Easter Road next week, burst into some kind of ironic chorus of 'Paddy McCourt's...f****n Army' (Though, god knows why we would) - I would imagine most would shit a brick about it. All this in spite of it being as clear as any chant could possibly have been at Tannadice on Sunday. And the idea that it is a 'minority' is laughable if you were watching that game.I don't for a minute want to sing anything about that kinda stuff, just find it quite astounding that nobody even seems to raise an eyebrow about quite ludicrous double standards
