BlueSuedeSambas 56,413
We are always quick to shoot down the quality of the SPL, but usually there are a handful of players who somehow manage to catch the eye over the course of the season. So has there been anybody based in Scotland who has caught your eye this season that you think might become a target for eitehr ourselves or Celtic, or clubs in England? ScottBF2 3,540
I think Gary Hooper might be able to make the step up to a better club. He doesn't deserve to be dying away at a small club like C*ltic and deserves something higher, although he can fuck off from Rangers. Maybe Dundee Utd. Senna 735
Just the ones mentioned so far, Russell, Templeton and Hayes.
NessFTW 40
David Templeton is just about the only one who continually impresses me. Although I also really like the look of that David Davis that plays for ICT. On loan from Wolves and is only 20, wonder if he is in their long term plans?Hayes and Russell just haven't really done it for me, both decent players but not good enough for me. Hayes is also already 24, compared with Naisy who is a year older he is far inferior. I'd be keeping an eye on Russell though on the chance he improves a lot. TheKingObv 10,860
Why is Scott Allan barely playing? He's meant to be a big talent, so you'd expect him to play a bit more considering he is 20 years old.
disgruntled_bear 157
We could do a lot worse than Jamie Murphy.Scott Allan gets all the hype, but IMO Stuart Armstrong is the one to watch at Dundee Utd.

disgruntled_bear 157
Just came in to this thread to suggest Murphy.Would be a tailor made replacement for Naisy. The only stumbling block would be, we would have to fork out roundabout the same money as we did for Naismith.
