Maxou 66
Right folks, time to give some money to our beloved club. Even if it doesn't solve all our problems, it will certainly help I've read on facebook that many people intend to give money at the Killie game or at Ibrox, but I think it would be wiser to create a donation website as many people just can't attend those games. GovanFrontSince96 315
So we all empty our bank accounts to help gers while CW puts in 1p and £18 million which he gets back?

Maxou 66
I'm not saying we need to empty our bank accounts, but even just £10 per person would make some good sum of money in the end fs.

Maxou 66
Great idea. Yass at least some support ! Right, now the question is: how do you create a fucking website ?!
Grant_1986 73
Nope, I pay my season ticket every year, that's enough. It's time for the people who put on a replica top and have never been to Ibrox to step up though.
PeterheadBear 1
So we're going to collect bucket fulls of £10 notes and hand deliver them to the guy that has just mortgaged off future season tickets and signalled his intent to take us into administration?Could I interest you in some magic beans whilst you're at it? lau03143 87
No amount of money generated will help this. The tax bill will be huge and any sum generated by fans, even in ticket sales is going to be insignificant as he's already spent the ticket money.Any money now that comes in will go straight to Craig Whyte as he's the main creditor.Support the team, but don't give away your money to him, he's playing games here. Yes Murray put us in this mess but CW was meant to get us out of it. In my opinion since the day he took over CW has always looked at administration as the cheapest way to run the club without putting his own money in. kp501 6
Donate to who... the poor creditors.... adminsitrators will take every penny and give it to White (secured creditor) or any other poor bastard waiting in line.Nice sentiment, not well thought out. disgruntled_bear 157
It's something that will be asked for down the line, but. Until we are at this stage, we have to be patient and see what happens.
lgr1991 303
Yass at least some support ! Right, now the question is: how do you create a fucking website ?! A very basic site could be up and running in no time with little expense. However, a site dealing with donations, or anything financial, is a bit trickier. You have to take into account security and compatability with payment methods etc. Unless someone had a lot of time on their hands, better off just donating at games if you want to donate,
mrmytto 220
50,000 x £10 at the next home game = £500,000 It isn't ever going to work.
Big Blue Ben 1
if only it was this simple.take the jelavic money and do the euro millions
Creampuff 22,628
The club would likely need £65-70m minimum to get back to where we need to be.This would be lucky to get more than a few grand.
The Monk 3,208
In theory If our fans gave £10 each we could easily raise £49mil as we have well other 5mil fans. But I just don't see it happening, personally I would happily donate £100 but how many others would.
Maxou 66
I know it is not much but that's all we can do in the end. I'm gutted with what is happening right now and I'd love to give a bit of my money to the club, as I just can't attend any games.

Would all of us? No chance.
Skelf 1,153
Good idea but would not work. What we need is a fan owned club IMO. How many on here would give their money over to Whyte? If it came to save my club I would hand over £400 in 10 mins
A.T.G 10,773
I urge all bears to wait until this case is done withWhyte may get the bill to a minimum, we are not in admin yet

But I just don't see it happening, personally I would happily donate £100 but how many others would.Easy enough to say, but in reality you would be extremely lucky if you could get 1000 people who would be willing to donate £100, sad fact but true. I am sure David Murry tried to do something of the sort by selling seats to supporters for £1000 for 25 years to try and raise much needed cash for the club, but not many people took up that offer.Thats why this "Fan ownership" talk is just a dream. Mansion 120
Would love it if another club gave us cash, never happening though! Desperate times indeed.
Ricky_ 893
seriously, a charity tin? This is almost as embarrasing as Aluko paying money to sign for us.It's pointless putting money in right now, and i think thats the reason why Whyte hasn't. If we go into admin the vultures come out to get what they are owed. It would be better to strike deals & settle up for cut prices then get the investments, which would then be protected.
