Liverpool should punt Reina and go for Begovic imo. Reina has been rottenfor years. Man Utd and Chelsea have brilliant keepers already, and opinion on Szczesny every month, so he'll probably be considered one of the best prospects in world football again by the time summmer comes round. Spurs and Man City obviously don't need him and I can't see Everton forking out that much.

I see Liverpool going in for Butland again though with them nurturing him for a few years before eventually replacing Reina.

Think Begovic will stay another year.

Isn't Begovic's imminent departure the reason Stoke signed Butland?

Reina is the most overrated goalie from the last ten years in the Premiership.

He's made three to five point-costing mistakes every year and seems to get away with it.

I agree, which is why if Liverpool are serious about doing anything at all next year, they have to get rid. He's had his moments of magic over the years, but his blunders definitely outweigh them (especially in the past few seasons). Rodgers was saying yesterday Liverpool are planning 3 or 4 "big" signings, and a GK would definitely be a good place to start.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon is considering a second move for Wolves striker Kevin Doyle after an attempt to buy the 29-year-old in January failed.

"I think he's a quality player. He is that all-round type of centre-forward that I really like. I can't talk about another club's player - I don't want to disrespect Wolves. But we wanted him," Lennon told reporters.

Asked if he would make a second signing move, he added: "I'll think about it."

He's been left out the Ireland squad.

Slightly contradicting, Neil.
