Bebeto's son, Flamengo youngster Mattheus, is reportedly close to joining Italian giants Juventus.

A fee in the region of €2million has been agreed for the 18-year-old Brazilian to make the move to Europe.

Flamengo's director of football Paulo Pelaipe has confirmed that negotiations over the player are at an advanced stage.

"There is only one document left, which will come from Italy, but the deal is almost certain," he told Lancenet.

Mattheus was the newly-born child who sparked the famous baby-cradling celebrations between Bebeto, Romario and Mazinho after the former's goal against Holland at the 1994 World Cup.

Coincidentally, Mazinho's son Thiago Alcantara has also gone on to become a professional footballer playing for Barcelona and Spain.

Would be a good signing for Inter if true.

Dzeko to Dortmund has been quietly suggested for a couple of months now with Lewandowski to Bayern and Gomez out (guesses of a 3 way switch with Gomez going to City, don't see that one myself).

Heung-Min Son from Hamburg will probably be on the move this summer. All the top Premier Leagues have been linked as well as Bayern and Dortmund now.

Really hope Ronaldo doesn't go to the Premier League. I'd rather he stayed at Real.

Chelsea might not want to sell him, but player power in today's market is strong. Who's to say if Barcelona or Madrid come in for him, his head won't turn? Mata also might think going to either club will enhance his chances of starting for Spain, deserves to play before Fabregas.

Chelsea fail to make the CL this year, that could be a factor. Although it would take at least £35 million to sign him, but if Barcelona are willing to pay more for the vastly overrated Neymar, then they should look at Mata or Isco instead.

If I was Barcelona I'd sell Fabregas and Sanchez and bring in someone like Mata.

As for Villa, apparently he's been offered a contract extension.

If he's on a long contract Chelsea have plenty of power.
