Yata 161
If Joe cole can stay fit for chunks of the season and its a big if then I think hell do well, one thing lacking in Villas team is experience. For experience to count it has to be good experience, not players who couldn't get a club anywhere else

johanhentze 14,089
I was meaning Lukaku mate, Martinez has said he would offer 20m for him.Seems Mourinho doesnt want to sell him.. Atleti have apparently been told that he can only come on loan.. We will see - The certainly need to replace Diego Costa/David Villa.
Creampuff 22,628
Would be good business to get Lukaku on loan to Atl Madrid. Will be a much better gauge of how ready he is for first team football under Chelsea.

Creampuff 22,628
Arsenal activated Vela's buyback option. Great business if trueThe Socidad President confirmed it apparently. £3.5m is an absolutely outstanding price. He's miles ahead of what Arsenal currently have in reserve. SuperLeeMcCulloch 2,330
Vela couldn't handle the English game Silly transferCouple of good seasons in Spain if he has a poor year then they can cut their ties and probably get more than 3.5 million, Arsenal have done a good deal for a change win win with this 1. ClydebankBearWATP 877
Vela couldn't handle the English game Silly transferHe's done fantastic in Spain, older, more experience and a steal at 3.5 mill, it's a no lose situation. Also nobody does a chipped finish quite like Carlos Vela
the goal machine 7,803
Vela couldn't handle the English game Silly transferYeah, 3.5m for a guy who scored more league goals than Neymar and Bale is a silly transfer.

Creampuff 22,628
If Vela has been signed to replace Sanogo in the squad, then he's an absolutely outstanding signing, especially considering the outrageous price. He could flop and Arsenal could still sell him for £5m.
Gillete 1,338
Yeah, 3.5m for a guy who scored more league goals than Neymar and Bale is a silly transfer. They play with giroud as a lone striker most of the time and are going for another top striker You honestly think he will play much? It's a carling cup signing and I stand by what I saidWhat relevance of how many goals he's scored in Spain got to do with me saying he can't hack it in English football His style is all wrong and was proven to be a fucking dud and will so again

Especially with the amount of injuries Arsenal get. Because you've got nothing to suggest that he won't be able to hack it other than a spell at the club when he was a kid. A spell where he still scored some goals when he got a chance. He's shown he can score goals in a league that's of a similar quality to the EPL and he is a low-risk signing as it's cheap and he knows the club already.
