Bit surprised at Fabianski after he played in the cup final.

Don't think Eto would be the striker they need though.

Fabianski is good but not bothered tbh.

I would take Eto'o for a season along with a young striker with potential or a top striker but not bothered again if he signs

Atletico have only themselves to blame if they lose their better players.

The level of debt they have had is crazy and was always going to bite them in the arse.

They deserve hee haw.

That last minute goal in Lisbon was probably their CL chance gone for a long time

FULHAM CHRONICLE Chelsea are set for a triple raid on Atletico Madrid this summer.

A £32m fee for Diego Costa has long been agreed but the Blues are also closing in on a deal for left-back Filipe Luis and considering a shock return for Tiago, it is understood Fernando Torres could be used as a make weight in the deal.

It is also thought that blues boss , Jose Mourinho , is eyeing moves for Juventus star Paul Pogba and Ezequiel Lavezzi of PSG

Lambert to Liverpool is an odd one. He's obviously looking for a plan b and Lambert is good as a focal point striker in a ball playing team just now but Rodgers generally signs players under the age of 25 and 8-10 million is a decent amount of money for a guy who isn't going to be first choice as long as Suraez is there.

Surely somebody like Bony or Remy would be better value for money in the long term?

Rogers seems pretty committed to keeping a core of English players. Either that or he wants to win the Premier League next year and thinks Lambert is the right man for the job, regardless of long term value. Either way, age is less of a concern when he won't be playing 90 minutes week-in week-out.

If I was Lambert i'd stay at Southampton or wait for a side who could guarantee a starting placec, with Liverpool's forward line I really can't see him getting too many opportunities.

At 32 how many more chances will Lambert really get to play for one of the biggest clubs in the country? Can understand if he goes
