The Monk 3,207
There also saying Gatusso is to hold more talks with @Daily_Record: SPL: Transfer Talk: Gattuso in Rangers talks; Terrors want McLean; Hibs eye Michalik http://t.co/PKqiWX54We should go for McLean too IMO, decent young player
Captain Hilts 12,819
i guess the way the Record has worded it just annoyed me. "get me out of rangers" is the headline
Clemdog 39,389
Totally understanble from Andrew.Hope he's given a contract, a more than useful player which he proved this Season. He was asked to step up and he did.
OneDavidCooper 2,505
What do you want? Are you saying it would be hard to replace him?Fucking impossible if there is a transfer embargo.
The Monk 3,207
Would really like to keep him but In our current situation we have to cut down. If it helps to offer Aluko a contract then I'd have to agree with letting him go.
Redwhiteandblue 3,330
It is my opinion that you do not know much about football if you are being serious here and i mean that in the nicest possible way, i don't mean to cause offence. Little is nowhere near the quality of Lafferty nor is he a natural goalscorer. we'll see where they both are in 12 months. Laff will be sitting on the bench at some club down south and andy little will still be with us and into double figures with goals. Also, think thats a little harsh saying that i know nothing about football because i think little and lafferty are of the same standard?? Wtf is that all about? Am sure pleanty agree with me. Little is nowhere near the quality of Lafferty nor is he a natural goalscorer. Disagree completely. Little is a natural goalscorer and should develop into a far better player than Laugherty. His link up play and awareness is good and he has a football brain, unlike the newly married fella. Blumhoilann 6,712
Non story,Andy is Rangers to the core but can't live on fresh air.Maybe they're waiting 'til we're out of admin but that could be too late.
broxibear87 129
We should go for McLean too IMO, decent young playerIs that the lad from St Midden?
albluenose1990 29
Players will go, we have to trim our wage budget.Fair enough but Andy Little's wage will be a drop in the ocean compared to some.
albluenose1990 29
Is that the lad from St Midden? No it's Brian McLean former Falkirk defender
The Monk 3,207
Is that the lad from St Midden? The one who I meant was but apparently the article says it was some Falkirk defender. Anyway we should still go for Kenny McLean when this whole situation is over.
delamonty 992
Ah well.. he's scored vs the scum. KEEP him!Average player though. If he goes... so be it. Someone else will take his place.
RICHY1775 32
Canny blame Little for wanting to get to fuck out of here. Apart from other things, he will now be out if contract, unemployed and needs to start looking for his next wage packet.
disgruntled_bear 157
Fair enough but Andy Little's wage will be a drop in the ocean compared to some. He'll not be the only one. But Andy Little wage could be the difference to keep Aluko or not.Big decisions will have to be made.
El Carpintero 546
Disagree completely. Little is a natural goalscorer and should develop into a far better player than Laugherty. His link up play and awareness is good and he has a football brain, unlike the newly married fella. That is below the belt. No need for that sort of talk. I disagree with you on Andy, i think he is a very poor footballer and whilst he is in or around our first team we will not be challenging for honours. El Carpintero 546
i meant if we don't offer him something in the next week or soThen so be it, like someone else said, easily replaced.
Darth Bear 15,095
Would be a shame to see him go for free but I can't see anybody getting a new contract while we remain in administration.
islandblue 366
Didn't really rate him but improved a bit in the last few games
Getstiffed 8,863
personally i think he's going to become a top drawer goal scorer. plus surely it will be cheaper to offer him a new contract than buy another player??At this point money isn't the issue though. Which given our current predicament is crazy to say.
RICHY1775 32
Would be a shame to see him go for free but I can't see anybody getting a new contract while we remain in administration.Maybe they won't get a new contract until the admin is exited in July, but I would expect a bit of loyalty from these players seeing that we've still managed to keep paying them during these difficult times since Valentines day,
theweebluenose 4,332
I never read to much into Daily Rebel stories, Little has the ability to score 20 plus next season in my humble opinion. I can see him and Naisy having a good partnership next season with Aluko hopefully playing just behind them.
GlasgowsBlue 329
Pile of pish! He says he's happy here.
Semper Paratus 72 127
I disagree with the ''Come good'' comments as he only got playing at the end of the season so it was hardly him ''coming good'' when he was only just starting to play in the team for the first time in the season. As far as previous seasons what chance did he really get due to serious injury.
