Im not defending it .......

What I am saying is that Whyte couldn't of not paid our taxes 15 months ago because he didn't own us. From reading the OP that is what Traynor and Jackson are claiming.

It's not what was said on the podcast. Listen for yourself and un-bunch your knickers about the posting error.

What's being said on that podcast is as damning an indictment of SFA negligence as I've heard - they had the information of Whyte's vandalism and they sat back and did absolutely nothing at all. Despite being in a regulatory position that should have compelled them to do something.

And, whilst having always had the information as to what was going on with Whyte - they have hammered the club which Whyte was in complete, individual control of.

We've suffered endlessly as a result - it's a fucking scandal.

Why is everybody banging on aboot 15 months ago, I don't think they spent the time calculating it to the day, they just said "we contacted them what was it about 14-15 months ago" they were pulling a figure out the air in the heat of a discussion.

Whyte only stopped paying tax in September 2011 according to the SFA diatribe ??/

How could Traynor etc know when our own directors didn't ??

Have you been in a cave? We only had 1 director other than Whyte in the end up and he was in SA, think he had a small problem with the authorities over there, not to sure though :craphead:

The PI probably had shitloads of info on the dodgy wee spiv bastard

If only they had published their dossier at the time we would never have been in this position. AJ et al have a lot to answer for.

It's different from suggesting someone might do something - to someone actually doing something......

Its a twist on a truth if ball was on the other foot we would be shouting this down as false...

Either way the SFA had a duty to protect us as a member club by way of the "fit and proper persons" rule and they ignored the warning so they are guilty of not protecting us.

Quote "Rangers newco's acceptance into the Scottish FA would only be approved if they accept responsibility for the football debts and fines incurred by the previous club along with their waiving of rights to a legal challenge".

Now I wondered why this was tacked onto the end of the statement issued to the media today. You know the one about RFC being admitted to League 1, like we were being readmitted in some sort of magnanimous gesture.

It's becoming clearer that both the SPL & SFA are unfit for purpose and, pending the outcome of the CPS action re prosecution of Whyte, not only will it leave both bodies open to financial redress for their actions, it should also ensure some rather high profile resignations to boot. I, for one, earnestly urge Charles Green to avail himself of the services of a good advocate.

We should be marching on fucking Holyrood at this point.
