Delighted with the turn out of bears and a few of the aspects of todays game.

Young Mckay looked great when he came on and should NOT have been on the bench. He's looked good every game this season and should be given time to cement his place in the team. As a youngster and a winger it is sure to happen that he'll have a few dips in form throughout the season but we should persevere and get behind him. We seen today what he's capable of (tu) Our best passages of play came when he linked up with Sandaza, Mcleod or Little and knocked two, three or four passes in quick sucession. The East Stirling lads or any team in the division for that matter will NOT be able to get close to us (tu)

Our aim should be to play it on the deck with quick passing and movement. The part-timers can't compete with that.

The bad aspects from today - 2/3 of our defence. I like that Ally is trying new formations, but three at the back doesn't work with Broadfoot or Goian... and even with Boca. Boca is the best defender outta all of them - easily, but we lack pace at the back to cover. Every break they had they split us open and Goian and Broafoot especially were too slow to react in time. If we play three at the back we need a younger player in there with pace (tu)

Good to be back at Ibrox though - good turnout and support from the Bears as usual :21:

A few things to work on but I'm happy to say it's still early doors and these things will work themselves out :D

Hard to be critical after winning 5-1, no matter the league. Lacklustre start and still creaky with 3 at back and so far apart you could drive a bus through, three sitting midfielders that you could throw a blanket over at times in the 1st and the two wider players couldn't go past their full backs. McKay was a standout and Little proved he'll get us goals. McCoist pushed MacLeod further forward in second half and team seem to have better structure then.

Early doors so the team still looks a bit short of match sharpness and a bit disjointed at times but streets ahead of last week's shambles. Hopefully, theres only improvements to come but well played boys, a result that sent the packed house home happy!! :uk:
