the goal machine 7,824
Normally, press conferences are pretty dull affairs. Managers get asked inane, mundane questions and give answers that don't really offer any insight. However, The Anfield Wrap got the chance to talk to Rodgers and it was a really good football interview. He talked about football, tactics, their business over the summer, his philosophy etc. I know a lot of people on here don't like Liverpool, like me, but it's really good.http://www.theanfieldwrap.com/2012/09/interview-brendan-rodgers-talks-to-taw/A transcript: http://www.theanfieldwrap.com/2012/09/transcript-the-brendan-rodgers-interview/
ready1873 3,906
Quite refreshing stuff to hear.He comes across as a good guy and I reckon if he's given the time he will transform Liverpool.
ryankyleakin 31
Read loads of things he's said, theres a good page that's easy to find where he talks about his formation and each position which is interesting.Good young manager who has a belief of how to play football and sticks to it. Hopefully liverpool are in it for the long haul with him because it'll take time to get them playing how he wants.

Captain Hilts 12,819
he sounds like a decent guy, but as much as i hate Hearts (SFL3 feeder club) (SFL3 feeder club) he was pretty cocky with his team selection against them (like most managers in England are towards Scottish teams), and he almost paid the price when wee Templeton stuck the shiters up him
keithgersbear 3,225
Seems like he could be trying to buy time with the Liverpool supporters to be honest.
the goal machine 7,824
Seems like he could be trying to buy time with the Liverpool supporters to be honest.I think he's just trying to explain what he wants to do with their team. It's a good idea though.
