Alexander is report to be on £12,000 a week even giving him half his wages [£6k] is still way too much for a 35 year old keeper to play second fiddle to Bell.

When you look at it Alexander hasn't missed a game this season is there really any need for Rangers at this present time to sign another keeper let Alexander go sign Bell and give our young reserve goalies the chance to be part of the 1st team squad even if all they do is sit on the bench just in case they are needed.

I really can't stand McCoist as manager he wants to buy in a whole new team to add to the ones already there if he gets his way Rangers wage bill will cripple us at this moment in time we don't need a 24/25 man squad...........all Rangers need is about 16 good players with the rest being made up from our youths Rangers will walk the 2nd division it is not any better than the 3rd is absolutely no need for us to have a massive squad on money we really cant afford.

Its far too much for a 35 year old keeper and as you say even 6k a week is far to high for 3rd tier football. I would love to see Smith/Gallacher even Currie getting games to prove if they can make it in the first team and im disapointed that since the league was won weeks ago Ally has not given these lads their chance. Bell is a good keeper for SPL level and should be our first choice if he signs but we should not forget about our younger keepers or they might want to leave and that would be a waste of potential talent.

How come when Walter smith was here he kept his transfer targets secret but McCoist can't do the same?

Unless someone keeps leaking them to the media?

The second time Walter was here the media had the leaks on players as well tbf but i agree with what your saying over all someone needs to be shut.up and stop talking to the media.
