lathos 21
What an absolute load of bullceltic...Official figures released show that Celtics attendances last year only fell by around 4500...while their lowest attendance was around 39000.....how the hell can they get away with fixing these figures like that....everyone to a man, including their own scummy support know what a lie it is.Rangers pretty much stayed the same as the year before, credit to the supporters.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-22541130

jack1690 793
I wouldnt worry about it. They are a club steeped in the tradition of covering up real facts.Everyone knows, including them, that no-one is interested in them. There are more than enough photos of their games this season, playing regularly in front of empty stands. Tamb 126
Why does anybody care what other people claim as attendance figures?
Plan C 39
Typical BBC. Our lowest attendace this season was 23,000 in the cup against Elgin. Theirs was around 14-15,000 against Raith in the cup. Yet BBC don't report that.
Bothwellbear 1,392
We are at it too. Yes i think ours are higher but it doesn't help that we use season sales in the numbers.
Understated 10
I don't know why people get worked up about this stuff. Attendances never won anything. Who gives a shit!?
77amurai 258
I think everyone includes sold season tickets as official numbers. Let them be embarrassed by their attendances when they show up glaringly on the TV. It's not our concern.
Ecosse123 27
Rangers do it too. Looks better for the figures I reckon. Couldn't give a shit about the attendance as long as the Season Tickets ate sold.

IanFerguson2012 123
Who cares. We all saw the swathes of empty green seats. We had a few games near the season's end when the crowd dipped but the place still looked busy. The Giro Dome looked empty from the motorway. elephants stoned 2,994
Bunch of bullshit with the 'reformed club' thrown in to add to the lies. Sooo glad i dont pay a licence fee for these scumbags.

Kay Fabe 4
Its just pathetic one upmanship from both sides, personally I feel clubs are entitled to give the number for tickets sold as that means ££££££It looks pathetic when there is so many empty seats but our wee Country is the only one in the world where a 35-45k attendance is ridiculed for being smallEvery club in the UK from time to time count tickets sold when giving their attendance
SeparateEntityMyArse 54,344
They are closing sections of their stadium down next season. There is no clearer statement of their lack of demand, irrespective of their attendance lies. Next season, they will continue to report inaccurate figures based on lower season ticket numbers, and we will continue to see what a joke they are by photos of the sea of green seats.Don't get upset or annoyed by it. It really is just them doing what they do best. Cheating.
Kay Fabe 4
Are they closing part of the ground? Ive heard it bandied about but not seen anything official, I know Aberdeen are doing it which I thinks a very smart move

OLE SUPER WILBERT 2,475
Who cares? We lied about our attendance at least once this season.Think it was the game Annan won at Ibrox.
Guest
BBC - cant take anything they write about us seriously. Every tarrier knows that theyre club has lied about attendances, if theyre comfortable with blatant lies and delusional stats then fine. I know if it were Rangers doing the same i'd be embarassed. But we havent lied about our attendances, the vast majority of games have well surpassed the expectations of nearly everyone. The fact the mhonkeys have lied about theirs shows theyre hurting. And I dont care how many times they repeat "Barcelona Barcelona" like the mindless parrots they are, they only wish they had our loyalty and passion. TheFarmer 260
The BBC article uses league match attendances for every clubs highest and lowest games in their wee table. But for one club, and one club only, they use a cup attendance (23,000) for that teams lowest match. If they only used league matches (like they did for every other team) the team in questions lowest attendance should be 34,441.Guess the team.Edit: If they used cup attendances for other teams lowest matches, celtic would sit at 14,000, that obviously doesn't suit their agenda. ZZed 4,510
Septics attendance next season is the one to watch as it goes down and down. I think ours will stay about the same.
