What was the other £110,000 for then? Shits and giggles?

Not incl. £50,000 admin fine , it was £10,000 for breaching sfa rules & £100,000 for bringing game into disrepute .

IMO it will at least a £60,000 fine + whatever level the sfa judge hearts to have brought the game into disrepute .

Arguably they should be fined more than £100,000 for bringing the game into disrepute then. The way they've fucked with their employees wages.

How is one different from the other? Ignore the other fines Rangers received - they are independent of the fine for breaking rule 14(g). Why are Hearts not getting any "Bringing the game into disrepute" charge because of their numerous winding up orders from HMRC or their various instances of failing to pay their players on time?

They are not even being charged with bringing the game into disrepute.

the Danny Wilson thing isn't "like for like" with Cousin.

Having said that I believe that it's morally reprehensible that Hertz PAY OFF 14 members of staff, including 2 donkey players, then sign another donkey

Were these 2 players made redundant?

It's my understanding that you can't fill a redundant position within a year of that position being made redundant.

Truly shocking list of crimes yet no disrepute charge from the SFA?

- Owner on the run from police.

- Selling season tickets that might not be valid.

- 8 winding up orders from HMRC since 2005.

- Continual late payment of players/staff.

- Sacking cleaners and low paid staff then signing players on thousands of pounds a week.

- Having a share issue while clearly insolvent.

- Debts well in excess of £26,000,000 and counting.

- Clearly should have been placed into admin while the season was still ongoing, cheated Dundee out of spl place.

- Unpaid £1m tax bill which has still not been paid despite winding up order from HMRC last year.

- Signing players on loan from Lithuania and not paying any tax on their wages in the U.K.

FFS wonder what they have to do to get a SFA disrepute charge.

It's complicated, but there are ways round it.

Would be an interesting challenge at a tribunal right enough.

Easier to do it in an office where you can change the job title from admin assistant to administrative executive.

You can't do that witg the job title of "football player" though.

Was there not a couple of Motherwell players that tried to sue Motherwell on thesr grounds? I'm very confident there was.

Can't remember the outcome though??

Weren't the paying players they couldn't afford, sounds like a bit of financial doping to me.

They were involved in a tax evasion scam (Not avoidance) by bringing over players from FBK kanuas and paying wages for them into banks in Lithuania not in the U.K. where they were employed.

HMRC took them to court and fined them £1.75m which still has not been paid fully to this day.

A total scam that cost Rangers FC a place in the Champions league in big Ecks last season.

agree with you except the last bit. I would day terrible signings and shocking management cost us c.l football that year. To go from champions to 3rd was the best example of ecks managerial ability. By december that year we were 20 points behind hearts thats absolutely dreadful. Fair enough we pilled it back to a point, but if they had kept their manager we'd have been well behind.

Few things about this, what on earth is this thread doing in the BD, should be in general sports, another thing is look at the actual dates of charges and hearings etc, the hearing was after the football season finished therefore they can't get relegated and Dundee reinstated. Under the Administration rules if they start they new season in administration then they start the season with a 10 point deduction. As for bringing the game into disrepute, if they start the season in administration then that charge might be added at a later date especially if they don't resolve their issues and come out of administration in a suitable period of time. As for making players redundant, they haven't actually did that, the players left willingly, basically they quit small loophole but a loophole never the less.

Bit unfair on Big Eck, he was forced into a period of cost cutting at the club and still brought us quite a few trophies in his time in charge.

quite right he did bring us a few trophies. But cmon, champs to 3rd place without selling many players and recruiting quite a few players.

Fair points about Eck but the main point was that Hearts that season bascially signed players and did not pay any PAYE/NIC on their wages, which is highly illegal. Even if we finished 20 points behind them the SPL/SFA should have disqualified them that season or taken action at a later date if they did not know about it.

The facts are we were cheated out of a champions league spot by them not just for the above but the match fixing that went on between them and Knewco to keep us out of the CL. That 3-0 game was the biggest case of cheating ever seen in Scottish football, the result was fixed before a ball was even kicked imho.

This thread is certainly valid for BD, we need to keep an eye on them and the spfl/sfa cabal if we don't they will be allowed to get away with murder yet again.

When Hearts go newco lets see if they are treated the same way as Rangers were, basically if we ignore what's going on they will still be playing in the top league like nothing has happend and be treated like vicTIMS by the same people who kicked Rangers when the club was down.
