elephants stoned 2,994
Article on official site has The Law Man talking about Peralta saying he's meaner than Rino Gattuso can't link it but if he's even half as fiesty as Rino was we will have some bite in midfield. I just hope Peralta has a longer Rangers career than Gattuso and become our new Ian Ferguson

KirkBroadband 203
I think this could turn out to be the best signing of the lot and that includes Nicky Law who most would agree has been outstanding!

wully 47,868
This just means we will play him at right back like Advocaat done with Gattuso, that's where the similarities are.

GOAT 30,449
Not sure I like the sounds of the start of that. NICKY LAW insists Rangers new boy Arnold Peralta is even more aggressive than ex-Ibrox icon Rino Gattuso. And he has the bruises to prove it.In fact the former Motherwell man reckons if Ally McCoist’s squad pick up any injuries this season - it will be more than likely the Honduran has inflicted them. But that’s why Law can’t wait to get Peralta off the Auchenhowie training pitch and into a real game for Gers.McCoist signed the combative 24-year-old from Vida three months ago but he’s yet to play in a competitive match due to the club’s transfer embargo. With September 1 been and gone, though, Peralta will finally be available for selection against Arbroath in a fortnight - and Law is convinced the Light Blue legions will adore him in the same way they did Gattuso.Like the Italian when he arrived in Glasgow in 1997, Peralta doesn’t speak a word of English. But Law says he only has to look at his team-mates to let them know he means business. The Ibrox midfielder said: “What will Arnold bring? Aggression! He’s very aggressive and leaves everything out on the pitch. If you see any injuries at Rangers this season, there’s a fair chance that Arnold will have provided them. He’s like that in training and in games but he’s fantastic.“I’m sure the fans will take to him. The Rangers support expect 100 per cent in every game and he gives that.“People have already compared him to Gattuso but he’s even more aggressive than him. He might even get a few red cards this season but he’s a great lad.“There have been a few battles with him already in training but that’s his game, he leaves the foot in. He’s not bothered. He doesn’t speak any English and he just gives you a look if you have a go at him. He thinks it’s normal.“He can play centrally but the manager has used him on the right in a couple of friendly games and that could be where he plays now.“Arnold has settled in well so far and is now learning the language. The lads have been great with him – as much as you can be when no one understands what he’s saying!“But I’m sure he’ll be a really good signing for the club and the fans will love him. He’s comfortable on the ball, as you’d expect from an international player – but he can do the nasty side of the game as well.“He’s versatile and gives different us options to what we’ve got in midfield, which is great for the manager.”Nicky Law joins Stephanie Watson and Andrew Baker at ENABLE launch Bill Murray/SNS GroupLaw sat out Rangers 5-0 rout of East Fife at the weekend but will return to the team for their next game against Arbroath on September 14.McCoist’s men have rattled in 18 goals in four League One games so far – and new boys Nicky Clark and Cammy Bell reckon Gers can go through the campaign unbeaten, scoring more than 100 goals in the process.Law echoed those comments and revealed the squad want to break a few records on their way to the title. He said: “We’ve scored 18 goals already with 13 different scorers. That shows we’re spreading the goals around and we can kick on and dominate now.“We know that with the quality of player we’ve got we should be beating these teams quite comfortably.“If we keep this ratio up, 100 goals in a season is possible. We’d love that because we want to set records.“To get 18 in four is brilliant but to score 100 would be fantastic. We’d love to set a new points record as well but the away matches are tough.“The aim is still the same – to win the league and go through the divisions. Anything more will be a bonus.“We’re expected to win it but to do it with a bit of style and set records would add to the achievement. The fans felt the style of play wasn’t great last year and the team didn’t win games as comfortably as they should have. This time, if we can match the work-rate of the other sides, we can win and score a lot of goals.”Gers full-back Lee Wallace has been instrumental in their good early-season form and Law believes his Scotland call-up was fully merited. He said: “We were disappointed that Lee hadn’t been called up to the last couple of squads. It’s pleasing and well deserved, he’s international quality.“He’s a phenomenal player and one hell of an athlete – probably one of the biggest threats in our team. I wouldn’t have any fear about Lee going up against anyone in the Belgium side. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone outrun him. We rate him as the best in the country and if you’re good enough you should be selected, irrespective of what league you’re playing in.”And Law was quick to praise another young Scot, Lewis Macleod, who has been a revelation for Rangers. He said: “I’d heard about Lewis before I signed and the manager spoke of him in glowing terms. He said I’d enjoy playing with him and I have – I’ve been really impressed.”****Law was visiting ENABLE Scotland’s Kilpatrick Pals facility to launch Rangers Charity Foundation’s national partnership. They’ve pledged to raise £30,000 to help ENABLE improve the lives of young people with learning disabilities.
