IMO you have no one to blame but yourself, lesson should be learned to take care of your possessions and you should count yourself lucky you even got your purse back.

It was probably a non Rangers supporting steward who needed a few extra quid (very likely knowing the type that do that sort of work).

Brace yourself...

Tbh I would have been much more surprised if this thread was about how you lost your purse and had it returned with all the contents intact, whether that be in Ibrox, a boozer or even a church. The temptation of £90 bangers would be too much for most people to resist.

Sad but true indictment of our society.

A moments lapse in concentration and it's her fault some thieving bastard takes advantage, ....aye right.

I admire your optimistic outlook, but would be interested to see an experiment where you leave purse/wallet with £90 inside, lying in the street/Ibrox/church and wait to see how much money you get back

Me and my mates found a girls purse in a taxi last year, it had $125 in it along with credit cards, drivers license, cell phone etc, when we contacted her and returned it, she couldn't thank us enough, the look on her face and relief was worth so much more.

I can't imagine how empty a persons life must be to be able to live without a conscience.

I found a wallet on a public bus when I was about 15 that was loaded (think about 300) so I checked the contents for an address and on the driving license there it was, so I invested some of the 300 and purchased a stamp and an envelope and sent all the plastic back along with a thank you note. Does that make me a bad person? Did I give a fuck? Would I do it again, that's the question, but seemed like a good deed at the time!

So you find a wallet in a park with 2 grand in it what do you do? You may be one of the small percentage who would hand it in but many (most) on here wouldn't.
