dummiesoot 16,073
When you add it all up Murrays career record in slams is phenomenal, the level of consistency is up there with the best, he is after all playing in one of Tennis' golden eras with three of all time greats against him. It is all too easy to forget that at times. WadeWilson

cushynumber 25,178
The 30-30 all point on Murrays 2nd service game in the 5th was a hard one - he actually won the point on his first serve as Djo put his return into the net - but it was called out then overruled by the umpire and had he to replay it , and ended up losing the point - 30:40 down rather than 40:30 up - it was the turning point in the 5th and game over.Andy will beat him at Wimbledon. When all is said and done Andy can look back on an excellent clay court season. He is as fit as he wasbin 2013 and is getting closer and closer to Djokovic and knows he can beat him on grass. Orange Persson 548
The whole match was punishing, with two of the biggest hitters and tennis strategists giving 5 sets on clay. Andy won't be pleased with that final set but Djo hit the winners from all over when needed. Great effort Andy. Final should be good if Stan can streak with backhand and above all...serve well. He cannot allow the amount of break points to Djo, that he afforded to Tsonga. I think we can look forward to 3rd week in June now.
AyeReadyStu 70
Stan will beat Novak tomorrowThat would possibly be the biggest cock-block in sporting history if that were to happen. Loses to Nadal 4 times at the French, finally beats him, beats Murray in 5 next round, only to lose to a bloke he has a 17-3 record against in the final
barrymorrison1 1,033
It's frustrating to see Andy so close to Novak, yet at times looks miles away when he folds. I have enjoyed watching Andy since he came on the tour, and we can take it for granted that now he gets to slam finals and semis, wins masters series and we are disappointed if he comes up short. It's too easy to forget the dross that was before him, and no doubt the dross that will come after him.Henman aside, ( rusedski is a plastic brit to me)no player since Perry has done anything remotely successful in their career. We should enjoy the remaining years of his career at the top, as well as the others before the clock catches up with them. trueblue68, bluedylan, AyeReadyStu and 1 other

It has been done before though. There is one person who has competed at Wimbledon as both a Man and a Woman!

AyeReadyStu 70
He would be a great player if he cut out the crap.No one else does this as blatantly as Djo!He wonders why he isn't as well liked as Nadal and Federer when the answer is staring him in the mirror. Phenomenal tennis player but his strange need to be loved by the crowd, and the way he handles it when the crowd are against him just make him look like a cock.
