Ally Must Leave Us

Certainly, McCoist signed the two lumps of wood. Lets not forget he has been limited to bringing in free transfers for the last few seasons though.

How much did Prso, Hemdani, Weir and Boumsong cost in transfer fees? Being limited to free transfers is no excuse for what we suffer.

How much did they cost in wages and signing on fees? Don't be silly.

What do you mean don't be silly? It's all relative. Someone was trying to excuse how bad Ally is because he has had to sign free transfers, these free transfers we did sign are being paid more than every other footballer in Scotland just about, so much in fact we can't even afford them ourselves. Your Ian Blacks, Jon Dalys, Nicky Laws, Kris Boyds and Kenny Millers are Galactico Superstars compared to the absolute shite who show them up every week.

Show them up every week? You are utterly bizarre.

I do realise Andy.

Some try to argue that Ally has been restricted by not being able to buy players, only sign frees. They compare it to previous Rangers managers, not the current situation in Scotland where no team bar the mhanks ( and even they rarely do so now ) spend on a transfer fee.

And they also say it's not Ally's concern how much these players are on even though it allows us to sign internationals and SPL experienced players to compete against kids, amateurs and part-timers. Yet many are out of contract so it's not even building for the future, it is solely about the here and now. Yes we MUST get promoted this year, but by christ we are paying for it.

Ally has shown no consistent evidence of building a team, identifying and signing potential assets, developing players, establishing and attacking and fluid style of play. He pretty much picks players and that is about it.

Its Sandy!

If we assume his only job is to pick eleven players ( not a full subs bench cause he failed there ) he's done ok.

If we assume his sole remit is to win the league ( only after going to the 3rd, ignore his first season ) and we just ignore all cup campaigns ( even though he stated our improved squad was necessary to compete in cups ) he's passed.

But that aside, yeah you're right.

In 2012 Ally said he was trying to go far, of not win a cup. I remember him ob TV saying so.

We do seem to have a problem playing on plastic, although that theory is out of the window when you consider the result against Airdrie last season. We have plastic at the training ground, so why does it cause so much trouble to us and not the other teams. You have to conclude it's the manager that's a fault. Anyone I'd say could do a better job than Ally, even Jimmy Calderwood would be an improvement. I remember when he came back to Scottish football from Holland and had the Pars playing with 6 up front at times. Maybe that's what's needed against these teams that only have defending as a tactic against us.

I wouldn't worry about losing the odd goal or two as long as we were scoring 4-5 in return.

It will give us the boot up the backside we need before Tuesday. Folk need to chill as we were never going to win every game this season anyway!

How many times has that been said? How often has that boot up the backside just brought the same lazy performances? Nothing will change, especially the lack of ability to change games.

Why not? Who are better than us? Who are even close to us in terms of resources, strength in depth and quality? Only one other team in the country, that is it. Every single time Rangers Football Club do not win a domestic match, it is embarrassing. Not winning games in part time/lower leagues is even worse. It is simply unacceptable. The fact a minority of fans are accepting it shows just how far back Ally McCoist has took this club. Sad times indeed.

"we were never going to win every game...anyway" is such a shite attitude, no offence, especially at this level. Winning every match should be a prerequisite of every Ranger on our payroll.

You're going to have to speak to Ally, don't think he likes our players training on plastic pitches so they are basically useless to us just now.

McCoist is tactically naive imo, but we did play extremely well against Raith Rovers last week, and played, not so well, but still pretty good when we beat ICT, I thought we were shocking yesterday but the loss of Wallace just before the game, and then young McCleod followed by Clark, certainly didn't help the situation.

We are not where we are because of the manager, have him as the scapegoat for that if you want.

I was disappointed with the performance and result yesterday as well, but the chaps point that we weren't going to win every game is simply a fact that almost everyone would accept. Doesn't mean we are happy when we do drop points, but it means that we know there will be off days.

Rangers will play 90 lower league games over 3 years are you honestly saying the stats should have been played 90 W90 D0 L0 (goals for 1000) (goals against 0)?

Also if the argument about resources is used then surely peado fc should have won 3 trebles in a row by now as they have a wage bill far in excess of any team in Scotland and have done for years.

clearly he doesnt think that at all

but performances like the alloa game should not be the majority, not winning games after horsing teams off the park, dominating , playing better football is one thing, but dropping points in games where we actually dont deserve anything is not on, especially when its teams like alloa

and look at the abuse they get for not winning the trebles, even their own fans berated the tarriers because they couldnt win the trebles

Losing a goal or two is fine but winning every game, why not? The standard of ourselves and others since 2012 has been absolutely disgraceful.

They should have, yes, even their own fans will tell you that. It's embarrassing that they haven't.
