cushynumber 25,178
Ally is 100% responsiblena - never rated Ally but the players are not faultless.
graeme_4 34,871
If we don't go up, I think we'll be in admin again.Quite frankly the 'experienced' players we are playing are brutal, the likes of McKay and Gallacher wouldn't make us any worse. Jack The Flipper 5,936
Ally is 100% responsibleYes I agree. Ally is 100% responsible but not 100% to blame.
Gandalf the Blue 1,384
I dont understand this notion. We might aswell go up and continue rebuilding in the SPFL. Might take a season or two, but youd rather do it there than in the Championship. The team would learn quicker playing against the better teams. AlBear. 8,499
Yes I agree. Ally is 100% responsible but not 100% to blame.Eh?Oxymoron.
Crespie6 334
Ally bought the players, Ally kept them playing even though they were not playing to their potential. Ally simply did not do a managers job. He is fully resposible
Creampuff 22,628
My biggest fear is that he sets up against Hibs with an identical side to McCoist.

NeoGeo7 10,609
Unless there is investment, not loans, where those investing buy in to the philosophy of breeding success from within or buying the best young players available then it's too late. This should have happened in 2012, we could have signed 17 year old players to supplement our own and have a few experienced players. We didn't and instead the easy option was taken and even last year the unbeaten record was more important to mccoist than blooding youngsters. I believe telfer as an example may still have been at the club had he been given a run in the team last year.I think we have to go up from a financial perspective however that doesn't mean young players can't be played. It just means that rather than 7-8 young players we'd have to limit it to 3-4. My hope is that Durie can help get some of the better young players involved and get the loanees such as Gallagher and McKay into the first team as they can't do any worse than the overpaid players are at the moment. Jack The Flipper 5,936
I haven't.Responsibility doesn't equal blame? No not at all. If you're responsible it means you're held accountable for something if it goes right or wrong. But this is even the case if things are out-with your direct control. Blame is different because it shows who is actually at fault no matter what their responsibility is.It's subtle but it explains that McCoist is the one held accountable for the team's success or failure, but doesn't essentially mean he is solely to blame for the failure or success. Dietspam 733
Never mind the kids jeopardising promotion. The senior players are doing that already!
SwallowsHisOwnSpunk 7,882
Playing Ryan Sinnamon ahead of Foster, Luca Gasparotto ahead of McCulloch, Barrie McKay ahead of Templeton, Callum Gallagher ahead of Boyd will not jeapordise our title hopes they will boost them if anything. Sket 13,610
Never as that is essentially accepting 2nd best and that's not in our DNA.We will go up and I still believe we will catch hearts. Then you are deluded. Hearts are cruising to the title and will continue to do so.
cd true bluenose 86
No.Not going up will be a disaster no matter how you try to dress it up.It's a disgrace we are even contemplating it tbh given the mess Hearts and Hibs were in when going down. We had a 2 yeare period to get our house in order, players from the top flight in and gel a team…problem was we didn't have a manager capable of doing that and the shit has hit the fan. That being said we are more than capable of winning a play off given our squad, the danger is it's a complete lottery and a couple of games makes or breaks our future. We must go up.you think we can win a play off ? when in 3 years we cant win the ramsdens cup ! why do you think we can win a play off ????? 1873bear 192
The play offs are our only hope, Hearts are having the season of there lives, one game away from half the season played & they have only dropped 4 points, it will take a monster effort & a lot of luck to catch them, Hibs on Saturday is a must win for us.
