calio 688
I keep hearing Mike Ashley needs us to be successful on the park, so it makes perfect sense to presume we'll see some of NUFCs best young talent arriving soon to bolster our push for promotion, especially after losing our best player before the window had even opened! So who will be coming up the M74 & when? calio 688
What makes you think any Newcastle players will be coming our way ? I thought I'd made that clear in my OP, our squad needs strengthening for our promotion push as we are currently... shit to put it politely. They must have a RB that knows how to play football for a start! We really need freshening up, I know our financial situation closes the door on making signings so surely a couple of loanees is the way to go?Gogz, I'd take shearer the now, bet he's still more mobile than Boyd and Daly! South parker 28
If he sells Newcastle in January like some rumours suggest he can't loan anyone without a new owners permission.
Guardian 4,281
No need. The 4 bears will pony up for new players to bolster their investment. They have the clubs best interests at heart after all and are our biggest shareholders.

sonofbear 398
I agree we are shit and in bad need of strengthening with better players but Newcastle are also managerless at the moment and pushing hard for a euro spot. Their centre half has also ruptured his Achilles yesterday so they are not without injuries..The SFA have already gazumped any further expansion by Ashley, other buyers are trying to squeeze him out and lessen his influence, and to cap it off he is treated like a pariah by a vociferous section of our support. So I say again what makes you think Newcastle players will be coming our way ? glasgowrangersno1 468
Remi Streete was supposed to be on his way.

tannerall 25,935
Nah, Newcastle were near the bottom when this rumour started, but all their players have upped their game considerably since hearing they could be loaned to Ally, and they are now up in the top half of the table.... Corky True Legend 2,682
Ffs. NUFC would be better loaning out players to the Conference than the shite that is Scottish football. They would want loanees to improve, not sink to our level.
onefootwillie 1,519
No chance of him selling Newcastle at the moment as there is a new EPL TV deal due at the end of the season and the rumour is that the money the get at present will increase by 30% min. So he will not sell the club till that goes sorted
thehost 11,061
after reading about what happens at auchenhowie I doubt anyone would let a sumo wrestler, come on loan, far less an athletic footballer

Gaz52 11,837
Sky Sports BT Sport Vodafone All ready to pump ludicrous amounts of money in to the EPL. But Ashley wants to sell up and give us his money to spend on players that'll get beat against Alloa
Ibrox_Nights 429
They may want to send Hatem Ben Arfa our way, I don't think they'd be too fussed how he develops. ------------------------ Nope, we've just been gazumped by Nice it would appear.
