Is There A Reason We Gave Up 3-5-2 ?

If your wing backs are fast enough then a 3-5-2 can become a 5-3-2 fluidly and makes things very awkward for an opposition team. No idea why we went to a long ball tactic (if we had a tactic) against QOTS on a plastic pitch better suited to passing football, 3-5-2 is fantastic for that sort of passing play IMO.

we seem to pkay better football when 3-5-2. Keep the ball on the deck more and do not resort to a big hump up the park. why do we insist in playing high balls to miller and clark with a combined height of three foot six?

subs, Boyd FFS, would have been better with a cardboard cut out of Colin Stein

Promotion? Its a lottery at this stage as we are totally inconsistent.

The same McCall that beat Hibs and Hearts ?

Shut the fuck up and leave the forum forever. You're utterly pointless.

Nuh, you're alright thanks. This is the same Mccall that has us drawing with the worst team in the league and getting thumped by qots. The same Mccall who insists on playing Mcculloch, and turning to Boyd to save us in games that aren't going our way. The same Mccall who can't see when a game is not working out for us and refuses to make substitutions to affect that. The same Mccall who got us two great results but then turned his back on a system that got us those results just as you alluded to in your opening post. If you're happy with the job he's done so far, fair enough, that's your call. I'm not. He continues to make the same mistakes over and over again and if we are lucky enough to go up this season and he's given the job long term, I'd hope that we don't continue to see these mistake being repeated in the top flight into the middle of next season or we will find ourselves back in the shitey situation we were in with mccoist during this one.
