hammer93 15,057
Fair play to him, I always respected his work rate and he was a very honest pro playing in a team of charlatans but I only want the best for Rangers and big Darren wasn't good enough to take the club forward. In truth the big man has found his level at hivs.
cushynumber 25,178
He came across well last night in the interview on Clyde. Though this is being spun a little as Mcgregor got one over on us by signing for Hibs and not St Johnstone

Orange&Blue 130
Absolute class from us in the way this has been conducted and credit to Darren for recognising this. We are and always will be the benchmark for 'professionalism' and 'integrity' in scottish football. WATP
BlueSuedeSambas 53,923
He's a good defender but Hibs need a fucking miracle if they're going to finish above us, let's be honestThere's still loads of football to play but we already have a six point gap on them and a goal difference that's as good as a point. It's early doors but there would be need to be a monumental fuck up for us not to comfortably win this league. delamonty 992
Nice to see mutual respect here. The gaffer handled this perfectly and it shows in Darren's comments. Mark W. did him a favour
Misteral 2,932
Ultimately, nobody is unhappy about this move. Nice words. Good luck, Darren.
piperpete 3,186
Disappointed he went to Hibs, but wish him all the best. One of the few bright spots of last season.Hope he does crap when he's playing us though.surely you cant be disappointed in any player who are getting to live their dream and play for the team they support. Good luck to him. Rangers are a class above the rest and wouldn't have stopped him signing for Hibs if we didnt want him, and you can bet MW knew where he was going. onefootwillie 1,518
Decent guy gave his best for us and glad for him that he gets to play for his boyhood favourites. Also shows that we have a bit of class by not putting any restrictions on where he went to.
GWR1979 1,964
Didn't realize he was 30, Big Honest player who gives 100%, which is why we voted him POTY.Getting him off the wage bill is a bonus if he was just going to warm the bench, He will do well in the championship for the next couple of years...... Moody Blue 9,404
Part of me thinks why didn't we sell him to get a nominal fee but can't argue with feeing up wages from someone who won't feature.

Ibroxholm 2,280
Move to Hibs all happened pretty quickly. Wouldn't be surprised if their hypocrite of a manager had tapped him up.
Creampuff 22,628
There's still loads of football to play but we already have a six point gap on them and a goal difference that's as good as a point. It's early doors but there would be need to be a monumental fuck up for us not to comfortably win this league.Particularly considering that our style and fitness should see us consistently strolling games against the bottom half of the league. I just don't see where we're dropping points in any more than a handful of games this year; that just wasn't the case under McCall or McCoist.
