Mr Warburton just takes it in his stride, "it's all about Rangers" he comments when pressed by the gutter press, some managers avoid the trap, others can't keep their traps shut.

He said on Rangers official website that; "I am bemused by this" and then goes on to say narrowing the pitch won't make one bit of difference how we approach the game.

Meanwhile on the Daily Rebel, "journalist" Gavin Berry goes with the Headline on the story as......

Rangers boss Mark Warburton rages at rules that allow Alloa to narrow pitch

Like I said, if parameters have been broken, then there is a case.  For me it would be a rid neck to complain though.

Who is asking for Rangers to complain? What they have done is wrong but the rules allow it so fair enough. It the SFA rule that needs changed

We should still hump them though.

Obviously it makes a difference.

If you're style of play is compact and organised.... a tight pitch will suit you more
If you're style of play is fast and expansive... a big pitch will suit you more

You should be allowed to change your pitch size at the start of the season to what you think might suit your style best. However, you shouldn't be allowed to change it to make it harder for the opposition or change it halfway through a season.

Reducing the pitch width by 10m, makes the pitch area smaller by somewhere in the region of 900m2-1000m2

Put that into perspective, you're typical 3 bed council house has about 45m2 of floor space on each floor.

Wtf is this "m" shite. Its 5 YARDS they are narrowing it by.

If we drop points I'll be first in with the complaint letter! :D

Agree mate, halfway through a season against us is a bit dodgey to change it, there should be a 'window' each season, like the transfer window where that's the only time you can change pitch size, the SFA are probably not on the pulse with the rules regarding it if the cup draw is something to go by

Remember the Worldie goal Bale scored against Bartra? Where he used the entire width of the pitch to outrun and smoke him?

Morton narrowed the pitch which will stop McKay from doing htat^ to them

It's actually 5 yards on each side of the pitch,CTL which obviously is 10 yards in total.

Its not the total I was referring to, it was this "m" crap. But yes, I agree it is 10 YARDS in total. Still think it shows they are shitting themselves.

Well done mate for pointing out, maybe we should make a thread for all the dodgy journalism that goes on, and every time something like that happens post the real stuff in there

If the rules allow it, it can't be wrong. Maybe morally currupt but, according to the law, not wrong.
