Sorry guys not been on for a bit had some personal issues to try and sort out. It takes its toll on us both if you know where I a coming from. Joshua has been in hospital this week with a cold and a bit of a chest infection but is doing ok. Jumping around and not a care in the world lol. Just managed to get the last of his med records sorted and into the computer so I will be sending it all over to America hopefully by the end of the week I will sign in later on as a work just now. WATP. Thank you all again.

Thanks Mark (tu) not sure any of us can imagine how difficult it must be for you all.

We will hear more from you when you can manage.

How close are you to your target, Mark? You must be trying to raise funds in lots of ways?

Look at the post above yours, 6.5% achieved 93.5% to go each % a grand,

There is a long way to go, there was a story on the news the other night, must have been the day after Sunderland were beaten at home to Everton, the Sunderland mascot  led out by the captain was a young kid suffering from a rare form of cancer who the family have set up a fund to get him to America for specialised treatment, it was £700k to find, they were £200k short and Everton donated that amount to reach the target, fair play to them.

What a great gesture from their club. I hope and pray that Joshua reaches his target soon.

The point I was trying to make, not very successfully it seems, is that this is possibly only one fund-raising effort. I thought maybe other appeals had raised funds too.

Hat's off to Everton, that's an amazing gesture. I emailed the Club asking them to read Mark's article and I am still waiting for a reply.

@govanblue was telling me about this yesterday before the game when we were discussing the Joshua fund raising, what an amazing thing for Everton to do.

The EPL is awash with money and that's equal to one top EPL players wages for a week, it is still a fantastic gesture by Everton but they (and the rest of the EPL) are on a different financial planet to us.

Yes I fully understand that (tu)

I just hope that Rangers can help with some kind of donation and also help to highlight the situation Joshua is in because I am sure it is only the fact the majority of our fans do not know about this fundraising that it is not being supported.

R M is a small number of our fans and while most will have contributed on here it needs the numbers we don't have.

Edit: just seen P-C-G's post above about the Sun article being finally put out, which is good.

May, I did not think Mark was speaking about it that far back, but then time goes by so quickly I could be wrong.

If you can find a link that would be great. (tu)
