TheKingObv 10,860
So with us voting out, the free movement of EU nationals will no longer exist. EU players will no long automatically be granted a work permit. As it stands in order to gain a permit if you're out with the EU you need satisfy fairly stringent conditions (75% percentage of international games played over the past couple years). Or you can appeal the decision and hope a panel will decide it's a signing that will boost the game in the country - the case with Jelavic. It's clear our scouting pool will be limited. Is it likely the government will ease the requirements needed for a permit?

Thewhitesettler 2,714
Scotland voted to Remain, which will give the Nasty Nats the excuse they needed to pursue another referendum. However, they will wait until they are certain, in their own mind, to win before demanding another referendum. Therefore Scotland could be different from the rest of the UK. But who knows what'll happen now? Anyone telling you that they do know what will happen in the near future, is a liar.
johnarsu 17
We only have 1 non British player so no issue for us, there fucked though fire sale need for them. EPL will also have big issues. Also it won't take effect until we actually leave which will be 2018ish.

stevie__ 46
We want British-based players anyways. it will only help boost our game thus bleeding more of our own players. It will make clubs invest more in young players and developing them more stringently. I would rather our football teams haveing more robust rules and regulations over what foreign players plays for us. That our countries borders beeing flung open to one and all that seeks to come from the EU and Turkey.

onefootwillie 1,519
No immediate effect but might make it a bit more difficult further down the line. However I don't remember problems in the 60s when we were getting players in from Denmark , Sweden and the like. As we will make our own rules it will entirely depend on us
