gmcf 34,712
Did well tonight . Love his tenacious style. Not sure how it would work with him and Barton together other than difficult away games .
Ozblue 4,332
You can see why he was described at Liverpool as a young Stevie G. and if he ends up half the player Gerrard was I will be fucking ecstatic. I know it was only Stranraer we were up against but I feel young Rossiter won't take a step backwards when it comes to a midfield battle in Scottish football. scottyscott1963 18,685
Leonard looks like he was given SOOONESSS dvd's to learn how a player gets to the top. There musta been plenty kicking about Annfield. Really serious about this kid who will one day Captain Rangers he's that good.
Prso's headband 35,953
Takes the ball and the man with confidence. I think he will go on to become a great player. Problem is the tackles he dishes out will be punished regardless. Whereas the tackle on Krancjar tonight will become common place with the same result. Minor bookings

Will be in rotation with Barton for the majority I think, with both playing together in the tough away games. He'll be ideal against Celtic. First thing I said to my old man. Plays exactly like Cattermole - let's hope for less red cards!

RDFM 3,809
He has a lot of core strength for a smallish guy

Laudrup1984 25,100
For such a young man he has a stature, presence, bite and swagger beyond his years. On early impressions I can see a similarity in a young Barry Ferguson. Coming from a big side like Liverpool and captaining a country with an array of options at under 19s level really shines through and is certainly no mean feat. He looks for all the world like a future Internationalist. He just has something about him...........
MolsGoals 96
impressed by his passing off both feet as well, sideway balls aren't always a bad thing to keep the passing ticking.

bordersbear 1,105
Core strength is a totally different thing than bulk and height. A new born baby has natural core strength but they can't even hold up their head. The fact he is strong and has a low centre of gravity are why he is strong on the ball. The Rangers FC 751
I really can't see him and Barton both playing together often, two CDMs wouldn't work in our system. However, I can see Rossiter learning and developing under Barton like an apprentice would. For instance, a young Danny Wilson and SDoW.

Halliday? Windass is a possibility but I think he'll be out wide . I think he's a stick on to start for us

rybrown 3
He was everywhere tonight.. On my way out the ground I dropped my phone & Rossiter intercepted it before it hit the ground. Think he will prove to be a real gem for us this season!

Theres no doubt Rossiter will play games, but I can't see him keeping Barton out of the team.
VladimirWeiss69 839
I would play rossiter with Barton and Kranjcar, both give us that bite in midfield and both want to control the game, neither slow the game down and rossiter is actually pretty quick. Would play windass wide until we see who the other striker we are after is.
