The midfield controlled much of the game, and even 2-1 up we held the ball and our shape well at times. They'll be a difficult side for most teams to play against, especially when they are at home, and we should be glad to have three points from that and look forward to the next match. The most exciting signing to me was big Kranjcar hope ive spelt tht right but hes be lacking behind if im honest. I feel the fluid front three doesn't work and we need more of a presence centrally, teams will just camp on the edge of their box, we need to move them around and alternate our play. Think having a more physical Cf will give as another dimension and let our creative players interchange and have someone to bounce passes off and cross too. BILLYBOY50 1,638 Posted August 15, 2016 Share Posted August 15, 2016 watched the highlights last night (sober) and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was when watching it on Saturday. we had more chances to score than I remember and dundee had very little goal scoring opportunities just need to be more clinical in front of goal. but the defending for their goal was abysmal to say the least. the whole defence need to communicate better with each other.but it's early days I'm sure we will grow as a team.
