there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
Is this just the SFA looking to get a better deal on the next lease or are they genuinely looking to move? Will they still have their offices at Hampden if there is no lease to play games there? Having said that, I would like to see Ibrox being used as a venue for Scotland games and possibly cup semis and finals. It would be another revenue stream and if it stopped the Bheasts in the East getting their hands on yet more money, then all the better. Times, and past views, can change though. If they don't want to stay at Hampden are they really prepared for the endless shitstorm of justifiable accusation of bias in favour of the other lot. It'd be an open wound forever which they could never shake off no matter how they tried to dress the finances up as it being a justified business case. There's to football in Scotland than money and its stuff they could not put a price on.

Cedrick 8,048
Make Murrayfeild the national stadium for football to , bigger than the tatie done , and a mile better stadium than hampden
Gascoigne8 3,378
The SFA made an arse of the redevelopment of hampden but on the basis the 2 biggest teams come from glasgow there is surely no way they can choose the paul gadd arena as the venue for cup finals and internationals

Ibrox was at one time the top stadium in Britain but in this day and age it is so far down the ladder it is a shame to see. btw just on sky that the scum have sold 50000 season tickets so far , the Rangers fans will probably have their allocation cut again. WadeWilson 4,670
As for the bawbags who are regularly on here replying to threads with 'fuck Scotland' (who hate their own national team), telling said national team where to play? Please rearrange these words into a well-known phrase: And. Take. To. Go. Yourselves. A. Running. Fuck.

Cellic park will be redeveloped to within and inch of its life with cellics financial outlay being minimal. For me cellic park being our national stadium would be the ultimate symbol that they have absolute control of Scottish football - not just for the near future but for generations to come. This has been what the Celtic board and the SFA have wanted all along. The tried to get sportscotland hq to move their offices from Edinburgh to across from the piggery as the cunt in charge was one of them, the staff refused to commute to Glasgow and that's why that never happened. I have been waiting for this announcement since after the commonwealth games as they will say the piggery holds 60,000 blah blah blah. And if we get the tarriers in a semi final or final where will it be played? SFA are a bloody disgrace to even consider moving

Spectre 1,663
If it does go to Celtic Park it'll at least be handy for Peter Lawell to get to his SFA string pulling meetings from his office at the piggery
