Congratulations to James Tavernier for breaking the scoring record set by John Greig and Sandy Jardine (see extract below from Rangers website):

"JAMES Tavernier says he has now properly broken John Greig and Sandy Jardine’s scoring record for a Rangers defender because this time it was in the Premiership. The Light Blues captain scored 15 times as the Gers won the Championship in 2015/16 but his double of penalties against Aberdeen made it 16 for the season.  Greig was in the tunnel to greet Tavernier after the game and the 27-year-old revealed he had some choice words for the skipper who has scored 14 of his goals from the spot...………"

That said, he's got a long way to go before he reaches the rightly exalted and legendary status of John Greig and Sandy Jardine.   Nevertheless, congratulations to Tav and very well done.

No they won’t get away with that first half against them. Plus they don’t care about beating the scum

If it were to happen and we beat them, I know the jambos will at least show up and try like fuck.

That’s it 100%. If the sheep do bear them next weekend however unlikely it is, then it really is game on.

He’s some much better than a lot of our support will ever believe until he’s gone and we struggle to replace him.

Hes no even as bad a defender as made out, aye he gets caught out of position at times though being to high up the pitch but that’s what modern full backs do.

Personally I hope he’s here for years to come.

See young Josh mcpake and dapo were amongst the squad of 20 today, hope we bring these boys through along with Middleton and mccrorie progressing. Plus the loan players below, some of whom need blooded too..

Players out in summer imo are, maybe... foderingham, morelos,

Defo, barasic, grezda, lafferty, coulibaly, Herrera, holt, dodoo, hodson, alnwick,

Wallace who deserves a crack at last few games...

Players to come back, docherty, rossiter, hardie, rudden, barjonas, Houston, dallas, atakyi

Bosmans likely or signed, Jones, Hattie, Stewart...

Seems to be over the top with wide players??

I thought Kent was poor, hopefully just getting back up to speed, we missed Candeias today.

Holds the ball up too much for me and at times slowed our play down, had moments of class yesterday but also moments of sheer frustration.
