Fed up been looked down upon by our club. Patronising as fuck that btw.

The atmosphere for Feyenoord was tremendous after the bother we had with UEFA. The club are only being sensible we can't be having a ground closure.

Right, no songs are racist by the strictest definition, but even the pedantic among us know fine well that sectarian is lumped with racist within uefa so grow the fuck up and stop whining about a sensible communication that protects our club... Unless you fancy our team playing in an empty stadium.

Simple as this, it's Uefa's club & thry get to make the rules, if you don't like it, don't join the club.

We all KNOW what songs/lyrics will get the club in trouble, we've suffered the results of singing those songs & the reputations & financial damage it causes.

Pointing fingers elsewhere is great & well but until we stop having stands closed, any protests we make fall on deaf ears.

We all talk about how precious RFC is to us, we complain about the bullets being fired at us from all angles but then were stupid enough to go and hand them more ammunition when they begin to run out.

Whether it is obvious or not doesn't matter a fuck to be quite frank, if the club is serious about this in my opinion it should grow a set of baws and state which songs we cannot sing.

Best being completely and utterly transparent with this kind of thing, instead of just hoping everyone is on the same page. If the club wants to lead us, let it lead.

So you think the club needs to tell you that using add ons like fuck the pope & singing about fenian bastards is going to get us hammered? It really is obvious & anyone who says otherwise is at it.

Patronising as fuck to release that IMO.

We’ve already been punished for the previous incidents and we have behaved impeccably ever since.

You're right, but the club must do EVERYTHING it can to show that they are trying to tackle the "problem".

It's a lot of shite and as you said - patronising, but the club has to be seen to be working on it.

Fucking fenians doing everything they can to try and silence our supporters. They dont give a shit that we sing that we're up to our knees on fenian blood. They just can't stand the noise of it getting belted out.

Fucking fake sectarianism!!!

How's about trusting our support to behave themselves. The way the club constantly bang on about us you'd think we go about trying to get the club in trouble.

The club take the away fans for granted. Never receive any praise from anyone within the club for the atmosphere that's made but quick to be reminded to behave.

Virtually every game the management and players comment and praise how good and important the atmosphere is. Where have you been hiding

Rangers takes this opportunity to remind supporters, especially those travelling to Portugal for the Europa League match against Porto, that they have a duty to represent the Club in the best possible way.

There must be no singing of songs, or behaviour which UEFA could deem unacceptable and the Club urges all our fans in Portugal to do everything possible to portray themselves and Rangers in the best possible light. Remember that UEFA has already imposed a sanction on Rangers so we must be vigilant and give them no cause to take further and more serious action against us.

The behaviour of our fans in recent times has been exemplary but it is important to maintain those standards at home and abroad. At all times we must be aware that whatever we do, both inside and outside the stadium today and tomorrow, our behaviour will come under the closest scrutiny.

Having said that, however, this fixture also provides another opportunity for Rangers to be showcased as a modern, all-inclusive Club. Let others fall foul of the authorities – we have seen what happened in Bulgaria just more than a week ago and there is now an investigation into a racist slur against one of our own – while we concentrate on supporting Steven Gerrard and his players in the correct way.

Be loud and be heard and hopefully celebrate a victory with the team at the end of the match but please, keep in mind that UEFA’s view of racism is wide ranging, which means singing or behaviour that could bring much more serious repercussions for the Club must be avoided.

In the same way the players are ambassadors for our Club so, too, are we, the supporters. So enjoy Porto, enjoy the game and together let’s promote Rangers positively. Let’s set higher standards and continue to demonstrate that Rangers is for Everyone, Anyone.

For good or bad . Our club is being run from people with thoughts  miles away from the club we once were and knew

Aye pal, folk like me who don't want to see our club getting stitched up by idiots like you who need to be told what songs to sing

Your stupidity knows no bounds mate, I'm sorry, can't converse with such an eejit.

You or I may know what songs not to sing, but you're a fool if you think absolutely every Rangers supporter does.

They're explicit about other things, there is no reason why they don't list the songs they know that are sung which in their opinion shouldn't be.

This is a one baw statement, and they should grow a set and state exactly what they want or some supporters will just ignore it or make up their own mind what songs they should and should not sing.

You're just being daft, by design or by default is the main question.

Again, you'd have to be hiding under a rock for the last 10yrs to not know what will get the club in trouble & trying to claim otherwise makes you look daft.

There was no need to even put a statement out, but to then lump in the trouble in Bulgaria as if we have a racist problem is just bonkers.
Run by fucking amateurs.

There are people on here complaining a few weeks ago, I will sing what I like, how's does that work with trust?

I distrust this board but on this we have no choice, we need to protect ourselves. Ffsi hate using them but lennon is building up to walk off, preempting racist chanting, getting ahead of the pr game, we need to be there
