I’m too old for it. I want games to have an easy mode nowadays so I can pick it up for an hour and know I’m making progress

Completed my first run today. Took 94 hours ! Can't wait to get started for NG+1

Was thinking about getting this, the reviews I have read are universally gushing, but I am unsure about splashing £50 on a game that is so hardcore difficult. Maybe wait until the price finally comes down a bit, but that could be quite sometime by the looks of things.
