Don't think there is anything wrong with following a band, it adds to atmosphere when bands with big followings pass. However, I agree that parades in NI are attended by a higher proportion of people who know how to behave in public.

They do it every year, different 'outfits' on the way back from the field. Kinda a tradition now. 

I used to play the flute in that wee band, Ross McCausland was in it as well.
