I change my mind daily on McLean.

I would bring him in as long as we buy another upgraded midfielder. McLean and Barron alongside Diomande doesn't seem quite good enough IMO.

However, being a good, veteran Scottish pro, is a major asset and we need that in the team.

Him and Oleh Volodymyrovych Kuznetsov were outstanding when fit. Unfortunately Oleg was injured soon into his contract.

If he's in addition to the quality CB, CAM, winger and striker we desperately need then sure, he'll be a good extra body in there
