If Weir and Alexander were not good enough to be in the original squad then why do they start tonight? Surely if it was the case that they were originally left out then means you would think he would have went with Whittaker at right back and probably Berra in the middle so that is he thinking about? Still only 29 and we aren't exactly burgeoning with left backs. Also Weir and Alexander are in due to people pulling out the squad and the U-21's are playing competitive qualifiers so Reynolds, Arfield, etc are with them.
