macleod1873 0
After Boyds penalty miss at the weekend, do any of you think thres a stick out penalty taker in that team apart from him ? Personally id keep Kris on them but ive herd a few moans from mates that he just runs up and hits them as hard as he can.

ShootSpeedKillLight 0
I reckon Novo and Whittaker are both better penalty takers than Boyd.

Polo 1,435
I'd stick with Boyd, but if he wasn't playing I'd give them to Papac. Despatched his with ease against Fiorentina
BlueSuedeSambas 54,161
Boyd Novo Thomson Mendes Ferguson Not a chance. ferguson didn't take one for about five years because he missed two very important ones in one game. He then missed another important one in the UEFA Cup. I'm not anti Ferguson in any way, but I wouldn't let him near a penalty now.
OrangeBurn 57
dont see hwy not. He has scored more than he has missed.
ManchestGer 347
I would defintitely keep Boyd on, had a feeling he was gonna miss the one the other day though possibly because the way we had started the game in general. Novo + Florence = good times!!
GersDude90 1
Leave them to Boyd, it was just one miss. Saying that, i think Whittaker is one of our better penalty takers, always looks like he's gonna score. Strange cause in open play he looks like a deer caught in headlights. Goianegra 4,686
Boyd Novo Thomson Mendes Ferguson I agree with this except Ferguson, but no way would those 4 be left out/injured at the same time... or are we talking about a shooy-out? :harhar:

barrymorrison1 1,033
leave it with boyd. as for hitting htem hard, nbo probs there either. cannot see many complaints during the time of ronald koeman and lothar matthiuus. they both blasted every pen they took, and they scored most. prefer to see a player put his foot through it and be saved, than a puffy effort like southgate(euro 96), and totally regret it for not blasting it. keep it with boyd, and let him melt it!!
