I didn't like what I heard on sky just then but a month ago people were bigging Clement up as some sort of managerial god....the truth is he hauled us back into a title race with a very average squad.....we all knew that not signing an out and out number nine was a massive gamble....a gamble that ultimately has failed, I would also point to the Hearts game that we won 5-0, our left side that day with Cortes & Ridvan was strong....but sure as christ our injury woes continued and we lost both players, it has been no surprise that the left hand side has been a shambles as we have tried numerous different combinations....I would give him some slack for this as he has constantly tried rotating the players hoping to find a solution.....the truth is it's fucked and he knows it.....I would be amazed if he perseveres with the abject failures next season

I think we seriously need to look at Sterling at right back for this....it's just a recurring theme when Maeda plays against Tavernier, I've read a lot in the past saying we shouldn't play Tav further forward but the counter argument surely is how poor we are on the right side, If we are taking Tavs strong points then they are generally in an attacking sense so I wouldn't be entirely against this option....we definitely need to try something different as I would hate to see Tav getting badly exposed at their midden
