WilliamFyfe 1,438
So the ex Rangers youngster who wowed us all playing CB along side Davie Weir has admitted he's available for free in the summer after he joined Liverpool. Would you like to see him back at Rangers?Would Ally have him over his current CBs?
Moody Blue 9,355
yes, he's miles better than what we have but needs a solid CB next to him.
GaryMc 2,394
I'd have him back in a second. Far better prospect than Perry and Hegarty.
G.E.C. 18,774
Can't see him coming back tbh. Still think he is capable of showing his full potential elsewhere.
Turnberry18 3,204
He's 21 and has had about 30 odd professional games of first team football. Left too early.
Smile 26,610
No he was a poor defender who was slow and couldn't header a ball.
KeepBelieving1872 64
Not watched him closely over the last few years but on a free he might improve the defence. Not sure how good he actually is though
scarkev 3,540
He is better than what we currently have and us still very young with the potential to improve! I would take him back in a heartbeat....I think he made a decision to go to Liverpool at the wrong time and I think he was poorly advised..Of all the former players we have been linked with I think he would be the best value due to his age and potential sell on value.... King Jela 20,361
I would absolutely love to have Wilson back. Its about as realistic right now though as me walking on the moon.
Wilbert 416
Nope, thought he was bigger than Rangers and as he and many others have found out nobody is bigger than Rangers. Can see him ending up at Aberdeen
King Jela 20,361
No he was a poor defender who was slow and couldn't header a ball.I wish that was the only problem our current defence had.

SirAlistairofMcCoist 91
I would take him back. But I fear his progression as a player under McCoist. Our current coaching team have a way of making a good player average
SwallowsHisOwnSpunk 7,798
has anyone actually watched him at Hearts this season?because Hearts seem to be losing most games and their defence seems terrible, add in the fact his loan spells and Bristol City and Blackpool failed miserably and he isn't anywhere near as good as people on here think he is, he has declined as a players since he left us Liverpool have ruined his development.I'm not saying no but I haven't watched Hearts this season, has anyone watched them and if so how has Wilson got on? scarkev 3,540
No he was a poor defender who was slow and couldn't header a ball.Fucking hell mate in comparison to perry, hegarty and cribari he is like a Jamaican sprinter and a born again marvin Andrews....Any improvements to our defence will not (at this stage) be a boughie or a weir so any improvement is a bonus! DG1872 0
Yes, much better than our current options

geronimoo 1,474
I would take him back and give him a shot, he can't be any worse than what we have and as for him leaving for Liverpool, every player in Scotland would have did the same. djbroxybear 660
IMO Danny Wilson hasn't developed since he has left Rangers i think when he came through Rangers ranks at the time he was playing with a good defense beside him which helped him through games... If he was good enough at higher level he would have been playing in England he has had 2 loan stints and failed at Bristol City and Blackpool... Coming back to Rangers he wont develop any further under Management team.
Beelay 2
Haven't seen enough of him to pass judgement, but he's better than what we've got.
WilliamFyfe 1,438
I agree he hasn't improved since leaving Rangers. We all know he should of stayed and learned more under Davie WeirAnd I also know his loan spells have failed, but at 21 I know he has it in him to be a good CB like the one we seen

Wilbert 416
What gave you that idea ?Well he jumped ship at the first opportunity and from I heard he was strutting around Glasgow saying to folk do you know who I'amIf his attitude has improved then I'd take him back in a heartbeat as our Defence is the worst I've ever seen. I'd rather have Rodriguez and Svenssen over what we have now
